Resident managers, Chris and Tana Gooch, moved into their Riverlight apartment in July and have been kept busy helping new residents settle in. Tana explained that there has been a very strong demand for rental properties at Riverlight East. “We have new residents moving in every week and rental properties are filling quickly,” Tana said. “Everyone who attends an inspection comments on the resident facilities and the easy access to the city, particularly being directly across from the City Cat terminal. Of course, the opportunity to move into a brand new, modern apartment is also appealing and the river views from some of the apartments are just spectacular.” Tana says that she is personally enjoying the expansive views from her level nine apartment. “Chris and I often sit on our balcony and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere at sunset. We see right up the Brisbane River to the city as well as towards the Gateway Bridge,” she said.

Brisbane Facility Manager, Tim Hooper, said that the Pet Hotel certainly gets tails wagging. “Pet owners love that we provide their pets with a homely environment, as well as a sociable experience, while they’re away,” he said. “Our luxury suites are designed to ensure both dogs and cats feel like they’re at home and on a holiday all at the same time.” One of the core beliefs at Hanrob Pet Hotels is that a social pet is a happy pet, explained Tim. “That’s why we offer plenty of social, outdoor play time to the dogs who stay with us, and plenty of interaction with our staff for the cats, who sometimes prefer to play on their own. This also gives pet owners peace of mind that their pets are not alone for too long while they’re away.” Of course, as a Registered Training Organisation, Hanrob Pet Hotel employees are also fully qualified to care for pets, having to undergo nationally recognised training to ensure they can offer the highest level of service.

“Our staff are not only trained to ensure your furry friends have the best care, but also, at their core they are animal lovers who treat every pet like their own.” And, if that wasn’t enough, Hanrob are also there to take the last-minute hassle out of your first day of holidays. “We have an expansive nationwide network of CheckIn Centres – including Hamilton Reach – so pet owners can easily find a convenient location nearby to drop their pet, where they will then be collected and transported safely and securely to their holiday home-away-from home,” Tim said. EAT STREET NORTHSHORE

TH E F UT URE O F SU S TA INABL E FARMING . REVOLUTIONARY VERTICAL HYDROPONIC FARM INSTALLED AT EAT STREET NORTHSHORE.

Never before has there been higher demand from consumers for locally sourced, sustainable and high-quality produce. Driven in recent years by the burgeoning farm-to-table movement, it is clear to discerning consumers that food is simply best when fresh. Home to over 70 food stalls, Eat Street Northshore looked to support a cleaner, more environmentally sustainable future and provide their vendors with only the freshest produce. Originally hoping to build an on-site farm, these plans were quickly put on hold due to limited available space. Enter Canada’s Modular Farms Co, who reached out and proposed to install their first Australian vertical hydroponic farm at Eat Street Northshore. Completed in March, Eat Street Northshore co-founder John Stainton said that the farm has proved to be a triumphant success. “The idea of growing an acre of crops in a 40-foot steel container, without any infringement on quality from the outside weather, made us realise the importance of finding new ways to deliver healthy uncontaminated produce for “One of our Italian food vendors, Pizza and Pasta, utilise
