130 years transforming lives The arrival at Solsona
Bishop Luis Amigo finally reached Solsona on August 4th to take assume his post. The Works of Father Luis Father Luis consecrated the Masamagrell Parish on May 1, 1908 under the authority of the diocesan bishop, where he was baptized when he was a child. A year later made effective the parish renovation left by his predecessor Juan Benlloch and provided all vacant parishes. That same year he was received by the Pope in the framework of the canonization of St. Joseph Oriol on May 20. The ordination of Fr. Javier Maria de Valencia Under the papal authorization and advised by Cardinal Vives, Father Luis was able to ordain Father Javier MarĂa de Valencia, who had not yet completed the required studies.
Before returning to take possession, Father Luis visited communities of OllerĂa, Torrente and Masamagrell. The mayor of Masamagrell handed a staff as a sign of affection from the people and their tertiary brothers.
Father Javier MarĂa made his novitiate in Solsona in order to receive the clerical state having his novice master Father Juan de Ayelo and who was then accompanied by Father Luis. The new cleric rendered great service to the congregation of the Tertiary reaching the position of Superior General after having been the procurator in Santa Rita Reformatory School.

Intercongregational Meeting of the Committee of Beautification Luis Amig贸 Between 26 to March 31 of this year the Luis Amigo Commission will meet in Rome to evaluate the process carried out by the speedy beatification of Father Luis Amigo and plan different activities to be implemented during the 2015; also, it is scheduled the meeting with the general postulator of the cause, Father Carlo Calloni, Capuchin. Later we will tell you the details about this meeting, knowing that the whole Amigonian family looks forward to the arrival of our Founder to the heavenly altars.
Meeting of the Congregational Commission Luis Amig贸 It is scheduled between 7 to 09 April the meeting of the members of this committee in Bogot谩, where relevant aspects of the development of the beatification of Father Luis Amigo at congregational level will be discussed at this meeting; unto to this, members of all provinces around the world are expected to attend. One of its main objectives is to analyze the possibility of creating a publication that can unify all communication efforts and give coherence to the work of Luis Amigo in the XXI century. We wish them success.

The Religious Congregations of Capuchin Tertiary (male) and Capuchin Tertiary (female) are in thirty (30) countries around the world. Luis Amigo, without being perfect, lived his priesthood from the very beginning as a true service to others and particularly to young people and always practiced it within the ambit of the marginalized sector of society.
