A WORD FROM OUR SENIOR PASTOR This has been another historic year for the Frazer Family. This year
marks the 130th year of faithful Gospel ministry in Montgomery and
beyond! I am so thankful for each of you. Many times, we talk about the church as if it is something outside of us or beyond us. But you are the
church! And I am so thankful for the many ways in which you embrace this high calling. While we continue to face global challenges, the
mission of Jesus and the advancement of the Word of God continues
to explode as lives are changed and The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is
glorified among you and within you. Thank you for continuing to be the light of Christ in this dark world. Thank you for standing firm. Thank you for not growing weary in doing good.
I hope that this year-in-review booklet will encourage you as you look
back on what God has done through us in 2023 and inspire you to even greater levels of commitment to Christ and His Kingdom in 2024. Happy New Year and God Bless You —
DR. CHRIS MONTGOMERY Senior Pastor

“What if we said, ‘Lord, help us do
our part that thy will may be done on
Earth, especially this part of the world, just as it is in Heaven. I believe that you can be a part of living out that
prayer that was prayed 55 years ago.
Let us be the church that continues to rise up for His honor, and His glory.”

Frazer Celebrates 130 Years Our 130th anniversary this year allowed us to gather to celebrate and recognize Frazer’s past and cast vision for the future.
“O Lord Jesus Christ, who biddest thy Church to bring all men to thyself:
Make clear to each one of us his part in the task. Enlighten our minds with a
vision of a more perfect society here on earth in which justice and right, peace and brotherhood shall reign according to thy will; and help us, O Lord, to do our part, that thy will may be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.” November 3, 1968 | Morning Worship | 11 AM Invocation Prayer from Frazer’s first service at the “new” East Montgomery location on Atlanta Highway.

“Have you believed in vain? Have you given mental assent to the idea
of Jesus, but there’s been no result, no change in your life? If so, that can change today. All you have to do is repent of your sins, and ask Jesus to come in and be your Lord and Savior and your life will change forever. If you mean it. May we not believe in vain this morning.” Pastor Chris Montgomery | Easter Sunday, 2023

loneliness, idols, identity, releasing unforgiveness and hope, and also living out our faith by remembering these statements:

FRAZER STUDENTS 260 STUDENTS | REPRESENTING 31 SCHOOLS DNOW 2023
DNOW 2023 We took 180 eager hearts and minds to Shocco Springs in February, as we explored the powerful theme of ‘Surrender,’ forging new, lifelong connections as we lifted our voices in collective worship. Our students responded with life-changing decisions, embracing Jesus as their Savior, taking the courageous step of baptism, and wholeheartedly surrendering their lives to His divine purpose.
Memphis Mission Trip During Spring Break, Frazer Students partnered with Street Reach Ministries and Brinkley Heights School in Memphis, TN. Throughout their journey, our dedicated students worked hand-in-hand with school personnel, engaged in prayer walks within local communities, and passionately spread the gospel by organizing a daily Bible Club for the children residing on Pope Street.

Our summer camp at Covenant College allowed students to strengthen their bonds within the group and deepen their faith. With the stunning backdrop of Lookout Mountain as inspiration, students engaged in meaningful discussions about their faith, exploring the intricacies of their beliefs in Jesus. The theme of the week, ‘Lost and Found,’ resonated as they discovered new perspectives and sought greater understanding about Jesus’ grace. This camp was more than just a summer getaway; it was a transformative experience that united our youth group like never before.

The Martha John Allison Prayer Chapel This sacred space is a tribute to Martha John Allison, a beloved member and Minister of Older Adult Ministries at Frazer for over 34 years – and who
shared a special love for God’s older children. Her unwavering dedication
and love for our community will live on, and the chapel will be a reminder to all of us of her astounding legacy and service.
