Greetings everyone! Many year ago, you put in me your trust to lead our organization. It seemed like yesterday and today, I bid all of you goodbye as I give the leadership to Sherly McLean our new incoming president and her new board of directors and officers. Leading our association had been the most rewarding part of my life both personally, socially and professionally. FAAMCI had been a blessing and a challenge as we emerge to be one of the most supportive members of our Filipino Executive Council of Greater Philadelphia. Through the Council, we elevated our awareness that our involvement with the Filipino‐American community is not only limited to Montgomery County or Philadelphia but beyond. With our membership we were able to reach out to a much wider audience and change people’s lives with our contribu‐ tion and personal presence and support to many of the noteworthy projects that were undertaken. As we celebrate Christmas, that mark the promise of hope and restoration with the coming of the birth of the Baby Jesus; we renew our hope within our FAAMCI and for the whole of humanity. We pledge our undivided attention to support more loft y projects that would present itself to us: challenging us to do better and to deepen our commitment to causes that will celebrate our humanity as an association, as a community, and as a country. I deeply thank my family for their support especially my husband Ferdinand and also the officers and members who stood by me when I really needed them. The Holidays are a wonderful time for us to gather as we celebrate the Christmas and the New Year. It also allows us a time to reflect on our achievements, 1st Vice President our challenges and review strategic plans on how to Ferdinand Luyun achieve this within our association – the Filipino Ameri‐ 2nd Vice President can Association of Montgomery County. Connie Roseleur I also would like to report to you our cooperative alliance with the Filipino Business Managers Executive Council of Greater Philadelphia.
