What’s Ahead MUSIC CLUB CONCERT Today at 3 p.m. in the Sanctuary Fredericksburg Music Club welcomes the Miró Quartet as today’s performers. Formed in 1995, the Miró Quartet is consistently praised for their deeply musical interpretations, exciting performances, & thoughtful programming. Based in Austin, TX, the Miró Quartet took its name from the Spanish artist, Joan Miró, whose surrealist works — with subject matter drawn from the realm of memory and imaginative fantasy — are some of the most original of the 20th century. Join us back in the sanctuary at 3 p.m. for their performance. Admission is free!

GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m., beginning February 1st Contact: Rick McMinn (830-370-9237 ) Beginning February 1st, our congregation will be offering an 8-week Grief Support Group facilitated by Dr. Rick McMinn. Everyone is welcome to attend this confidential group setting where participants are free to talk or listen as they feel comfortable. This is a chance to share with others who are grieving and hear the impact a loss has on both families and individuals. I hope that people will explore and discover new ways to live with their grief and find a new normal for their lives. This should be an excellent opportunity to find healing and hope through the care of others and your church community. Rick McMinn is a certified grief therapist, pastoral counselor, and holds a Doctor of Psychology. For more information call Rick at 830-370-9237.

The women of UMW’s Semi-Circle have placed domestic violence posters in the women's restrooms of the church. Rack cards in English and Spanish are also available in the foyer. Please feel free to take some. This has been a collaboration between the circle members and the Fredericksburg Needs Council. Posters will be delivered to other churches in our area and have been given to some local non-profit organizations. Domestic violence is not only a global problem, but a local one.
