The Sunday Scoop Welcome to Fredericksburg United Methodist Church!

Sunday, Oct. 9th, 2016

The

Sunday Scoop is your one-stop-shop for learning

about mission and ministry here at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church! We want to keep you connected to upcoming events, ongoing activities and ministry opportunities in our home. We want you to know that whoever you are, you are welcome here, and we invite you to make

this place your home!

10/9 Sunday Schedule 9 a.m.– Contemporary Worship Service 9:30-11:30 a.m.– Agape Time (coffee and snacks in the Fellowship Hall) 10 a.m.– Sunday School (see individual classes for room numbers.) 11:10 a.m.– Traditional worship service (Sanctuary)

Video Streaming Techs Needed!! Our church is blessed with some of the most high-tech video streaming capabilities available today. But, it can’t operate itself, and we need some new people to learn the system to be video producers for the 9 a.m. worship time. We have had some younger student operators in previous years who have gone off to college or became otherwise engaged, so we need to replenish our crew. With two or more techs we can rotate Sundays, so you don’t have to be here every Sunday. Just let us know when you are available. Don’t worry if you’re not a “techy” person. The equipment is very user-friendly and easy to operate and learn! This is a great job for anyone with an interest in photography, and there is a lot of room for creativity and artistic vision. If you are interested in seeing exactly what you would be getting into, see Don Doss before the 9:00 worship time or call him at 830-377-4320. You can also find Bob Hickerson or George Hahn before the 11:00 and see how they do it. This is a ministry and we have a direct need immediately! Please consider and let’s talk about it soon!
