Chilewich brings depth to surfaces.

Reimagining the potential of extruded yarns, New York designer Sandy Chilewich introduced her woven textiles to the international design community in 2000. The innovative placemats, runners, tray liners, and custom table coverings soon replaced the generic tablecloth that once defined fine dining, transforming how restaurants and hotels around the world set their tables.

Today the design-led company’s unique coverings for tabletops, floors, and more continue to push the boundaries of form and function. Designed and made in the United States, the everevolving Hospitality collection combines innovative weaves and distinctive colors with extraordinary durability and easy maintenance.

Custom Tabletop Worktop

Designed with beauty and functionality in mind, Chilewich tabletop textiles are the trusted choice of leading restaurants and hotels around the world. These versatile mats are free of phthalates, easy to deep clean, and feature integrated Microban® antimicrobial protection that lasts for the lifetime of the product. A wide range of weaves and colors are available for custom applications, from placemats and tray liners to table covers and coasters.

Originally developed with Chef Daniel Humm of Eleven Madison Park as a turn-key solution for the daily task of preparing the pass, Chilewich Worktop is a custom covering that addresses the functional demands and aesthetic priorities of professional hospitality environments. It protects essential surfaces with an elegant, durable woven layer that features a waterproof, non-slip backing. Beyond the back of house, Worktop is also ideal for in-room dining, banquets, meeting rooms, beverage stations, tray liners, and corporate kitchenettes.

Woven Floor Mats

Made from Chilewich’s signature textiles bonded with a flexible backing, our high-performance floor mats combine the dimension of weaving with a sleek profile, indoors or out. Self-bound edges complete the refined look. The commercial-grade latex backing provides a slip-resistant base layer, enhanced durability, and added comfort underfoot, making them a favorite for entryways, hallways, check-in, service stations, and cabanas. A range of stocked sizes is available, along with the option to customize, with no minimum order.

Shag Floor Mats

Made by tufting loops of Chilewich’s signature TerraStrand® yarns onto a primary backing and then binding them to a hardworking vinyl foundation that can weather any storm, Shag mats add texture and stability underfoot, indoors or out. These quick-drying mats are also resistant to mold, mildew, and chlorine, making them ideal for use in spa and pool areas, entryways, bathrooms, and beverage stations. Choose from stocked sizes or customize for the perfect fit.
