GENERAL DETOXIFICATION AND ELIMINATION BY THE 5 PART SYSTEM
Detox Schedule Follow the routine below during each day of the detox: 07:00 – Cleansing drink when you wake up 07:30 - Breakfast 09:00 - Green vegetable powder 09:10 - Deep breathing exercises 12:00 – Lunch 15:00 - Cleansing drink 16:00 - Green vegetable powder 16:10 – Deep breathing exercises 18:00 – Dinner 21:00 – Cleansing drink 22:00 – Hot bath with Epsom salts. While you’re in the bath, try and drink a lot of cold water and rinse your face with cold water. When you get out of the bath, get dressed and cover yourself up so that you sweat for a minimum of 20 minutes. 22:30 - Scrub your skin Purifying tea (recipe below) should be drunk throughout the day (4-6 glasses)
It would be beneficial for you to finish this program with a colonic irrigation twice a week, followed by a lymphatic massage a day or 2 later. What are the signs and symptoms of detoxification? Muscle pain, a feeling of tiredness, headaches, dizziness, old emotions (anger, fear, sadness), similar symptoms to “withdrawal symptoms”, a running nose, itchiness, flulike symptoms, a “hazy” feeling in your head.

Foods to help with elimination and detoxification Apples, beetroot, onions, figs, garlic, peppers, kale, shallots, beet leaves, collard greens, Daikon radishes, artichokes, broccoli, seedlings, Swiss chard, seaweed, mustard leaves. General advice for successful detoxification • Drink 3.8 liters water every day. • Sleep 7 to 8 hours every night • Have steam baths (or using a sauna) to help with the elimination of toxins • Each meal should last 30 minutes • Eat fairly slowly, chewing well • Never watch television or read during meals • Avoid social media and mobile phones as much as possible Recommendations for a diet detox • • • •
4 days before you start, try and make meals made up mostly of steamed or raw vegetables, millet, brown rice, or fruit 2 days before starting, stop eating grains (brown rice, millet, etc.) During the detoxification program, consume fruit and vegetable juices, cold pressed oils, steamed vegetables, and nuts soaked for 24 hours in water If you’re undertaking a one week program: o Consume steamed or raw vegetables, millet, brown rice or fruit for two days. Use cooking herbs to season to taste o Follow this with a day of fruit or steamed vegetables o Then a day of fruit and/or FRESH vegetable juice o And finally a day just drinking water o Repeat the cycle above but without the day of fasting
Cleansing drink Into 10 to 12 ounces juice or water, add: • One tablespoon rice bran • One tablespoon isolated whey protein powder, which will have the effect of increasing the production of (a powerful antioxidant) in the liver • 1 tablespoon (liquid) bentonite clay Put the bentonite into the juice or water, and add to the oat bran and psyllium mixture the mixture. Mix quickly and drink immediately. To improve the flavor, you can add 1 cup of (organic) frozen berries to the mixture.

Purifying tea Only use dried herbs • 1 tablespoon burdock root (arctium lappa) • 1 tablespoon crushed Mary thistle (silybum) seeds • 1 tablespoon root ginger 1.
Pour all of these ingredients into 2 liters of water

Bring to the boil, and allow to simmer, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes

Leave to soak, covered, for 10 to 15 minutes
Instead of drinking this tea, you could also drink “Detox teas” or “Peach detox teas” from the Yogi Tea brand, doubling the amount (2 sachets per cup) Green Drink To boost your liver during the detoxification process, and raise the level of antioxidants in your body, you could consume the green drinks which are outlined below: Mycelium mushroom mix Brazilian mushroom (Agaricus blazei), shiitake (Lentinula edodes), Schyzophillum commune, snow fungus (Tremella fuciformis), maitake (Grifola frondoza), reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), Fu Ling (Poria cocos), bearded hedgehog (Hericium erinaceus), turkey tail (Coriolus versicolor), yartsa gunbu (Ophiocordyceps sinsensis). Casei Maintenance and elimination program using the five point system You should use this program as a guide to maintain a less toxic state after you have followed a more intense, specific detoxification program. It has been designed to support the 5 main waste elimination systems (channels): the lungs, the skin, the intestines/colon, the kidneys, and the liver. Your lymphatic system and stress management are also mentioned in this program, because they play a vital part in preventing the accumulation of toxins after detoxification, and in accelerating this detoxification. The lungs 1. Perform these deep breathing exercises twice a day (the best times to do this are in the morning before you get up, and in the evening before you go to sleep). Description of the exercises: • While you’re lying on your back, place one hand on your chest, and the other on your stomach, then breathe in deeply. Firstly, you should feel the lower part of your lungs inflating, and filling with air, lifting your lower hand up; then, the upper part of your lungs will fill up with air, raising your upper hand. • Breathe out deeply: you should feel the upper part of your lungs emptying, then in turn the lower part will do the same.
2. Perform aerobic exercises which are suitable for your fitness level: this could be cycling, swimming, running, dancing or walking. Do this so that each session lasts between 20 and 45 minutes, and repeat them 3 to 5 times per week.

The skin Here is one of the most efficient routines for deeply detoxifying your skin: scrubbing, sweating, then cleaning. 1. Three times a week, before you have a bath, clean your entire body (except your face) while you’re dry. Use a brush (or a loofa) and start with your feet, moving upwards. Your skin should turn a bit red. 2. After you’ve scrubbed your skin, take a bath with warm or hot water, adding Epsom salts (use 375-750g Epsom salt and 1 cup of sea salt for one bath). While you’re in the bath, rinse your face and head regularly with cold water, so that you feel good. During and after the bath, make sure you drink plenty of cold water. 3. Get out of the bath, and immediately wrap yourself in a cold, damp sheet, then cover yourself up with a blanket for 20-25 minutes in order to prolong the sweating. Notes: It’s better to use moisturizing creams and plant oil-based soaps, and to avoid products made from animal fats, which may block the pores in your skin. You should also avoid using antiperspirants, which prevent this natural phenomenon, which is essential for detoxifying your body. Instead, use natural deodorants. The intestines/the colon 1. Avoid eating highly processed foods as much as possible, as these will increase the presence of toxins in your body, and lead to constipation. 2. Make an effort to eat salads, fruits and raw vegetables in order to speed up bowel movement. 3. Have a colonic irrigation or a coffee enema once a month, to detoxify the colon and ensure that you remain in great health. 4. Introducing grains which are naturally rich in fiber into your diet on a daily basis such as oats, quinoa, barley rice, or millet, will naturally soften your stools, which will improve the rate at which they absorb toxins/ 5.
You could also undergo constitutional hydrotherapy treatments.
Notes: the aerobic exercises described above are a great help in regulating your intestinal function.

The kidneys Drink 3.8 liters of water each day, preferably filtered or bottled. Don’t consume any other drinks except for fresh vegetable and fruit juices, or herbal teas. The liver – –

Avoid any substances that could interfere with your liver, such as caffeine, alcohol, preservatives, additives, colorants and nicotine. Don’t forget that the air is also loaded with toxins: cleaning products, exhaust fumes, cosmetic products, chemical emissions, toxic substances from building sites, and soaps. Eat organic foods as much as possible. For one week, try and eat the following herbs and spices: bupleurum, picrorhiza kurroa, turmeric, and Mary thistle. Eat Brassica vegetables, artichokes and beetroots on a daily basis, because these vegetables provide nutrients for the liver. Take trace element, B vitamins and other nutrients which are good for your liver, such as methionine, choline, curcumin, methyl-sulfonyl-methane, green tea, N-Acetylcysteine, and inositol.
The lymphatic system – –

When you take a hot shower, finish it off with 1 minute of cold water. This rinsing cycle will help to stimulate your central nervous system. Doing regular stretching exercises will help you to release any imbalances and tension in your muscles. Doing these exercises will improve lymphatic and blood circulation. Another useful exercise for lymphatic drainage is to jump on a trampoline or doing jumping jacks. Doing deep breathing is also very effective, because the diaphragm’s “pumping” movement when you breathe improves the draining of the whole system. Massages (whether they’re done by a professional or not) are also an excellent way or improving blood and lymphatic circulation.
Reducing stress If you’re stressed during the day, take the time to take a break and sit in a silent place.

Next, breathe deeply 3 times, as indicated in the exercise described further up. Try and visualize the tension flowing and exiting your body through your feet. Loosen your shoulders. You could also practice a relaxation or biological feedback technique. Try to relax for between 15 minutes and 1 hour in a calm place, and bring your mind to rest: –

Don’t watch the TV or use your phone or social networks; avoid reading except if it’s material which is geared towards relaxation (don’t stimulate your mind) Try not to think about the future or the past Breathe and stay calm Focus your mind on your breathing and on the flow of air which is entering and leaving your body Try and say things which relax you, repeating them regularly and quietly (a mantra). For example: “my breathing is relaxed and regular… my hands and feet are heavy… my limbs are relaxed… my solar plexus is warm and radiating heat... my forehead is relaxed and cool…” Enjoy this time.
Bath ideas Here are a few ideas for a relaxing bath: • Put Epsom salts in the water (around 900g for an average bath) • Pour half a cup of (liquid) bentonite clay into the water • Try and keep your head cool for the duration of the bath. • Before getting out, have a quick shower with cold water. This will lock the warmth of the bath in.
