While Queenstown is generally done at full pace, Onsen Hot Pools takes a step back to let you take in the beauty of the surroundings and simply relax. With uninterrupted views across the Shotover Canyon, our Cedar Hot Tubs are heated up to 39.8C during the winter and can accommodate up to four adults. Sunset is around 5pm in winter so be sure to take advantage of the night sky with an Onsen by Lantern light!
Nothing you have experienced will have you prepared for the excitement & thrill of a Shotover Jet ride. From the moment the accelerator hits the floor, your adrenaline hits the roof. It’s an amazing white water ride, as the Shotover Canyon walls tower over you, your expert driver puts his state-of-the-art Big Red Jet Boat through its paces. He will skillfully whip the powerful boat past rocky outcrops, skim around crags and boulders, and speed through the dramatic and narrow canyons. Rock faces blur in your peripheral vision and the water sprays into a myriad of white water crystals with every turn. It’s an adrenaline rush you’ll never forget.
It takes a certain kind of person to jump out of an aircraft at 15,000 feet into thin air. It takes courage. Harnessed to an experienced Jumpmaster, expect sensory overload as you step out of the aircraft door, and for up to 60 seconds freefall at 200kph over some of the most stunning and vivid scenery in the world.
