THE 2015-2016 ANNUAL REPORT OF DONORS
THE SCHOLAR 2016
HONORING TEACHERS & CELEBRATING SUCCESS The Colleen and Erin Marlatt Scholarship Fund is unique because of its multiple effects on both students and teachers. Not only do contributions help students in need pursue worthy educational endeavors, but the gifts we receive also benefit teachers who walk in faith and continue to dedicate their skills as faithful stewards of God’s grace to help their students. Benefactor participation demonstrates a commitment to Catholic education and acknowledges the dedication and faith filled work of Catholic school teachers. Our 2016 events thrived and gave participants a way to support a great cause and enjoy fun activities. The

SCHOLAR UPDATE Since graduating from the University of Maryland in 2006, our first scholar, JOE RUPPERT has been working as a management consultant for Price Waterhouse Cooper, an audit and assurance, consulting and tax services company. He is also pursuing an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business expecting to graduate in 2017. He and his wife Tina were married in May 2013 and they welcomed their first child, Patrick in September 2015. “I’m very grateful to the Marlatt family for the support that they provided during my undergraduate experience and continue to be amazed at all of the work that goes into making this scholarship possible.”
