AQUATICS Lap Swim The 2022 lap swim season will be open this summer at our Oasis Pool inside Aqua Adventure through pre-registration. Get in shape in our heated pools! For adults and students who are interested in lap swimming as a great aerobic workout. Lap swim will be held from 8:00am-10:30am and your swim lane will be assigned as you enter. The season will be split up into 3 sessions which you will be able to sign up for at any time. You must register online to participate. Zumba Gold NEW Zumba Gold is outdoors at the Central Park Performance

Pavilion. Zumba Gold is a modified version of Zumba geared toward active, older adults seeking lower-impact workouts. It protects your joints and muscles while raising your heart rate and improving your balance, posture, and coordination. Zumba Gold also allows you to go at your own speed and move to easy to follow routines. Maximum 10 per instructor. This is a parent participation class and one parent is required to be in the water with the child at all times. While spending quality time together, our instructor will guide you in teaching your child water adjustment skills. Students who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper. Little Sluggers T Ball League

Parent & Child Tot Sports Adventures

We cover the basics, including how to be part of a team while demonstrating good sportsmanship! No score is kept - everyone is a winner! Each week your child will receive skills training for first 30 minutes followed by 30 minutes of game play, which can start anytime between 9am-12pm. We will try to honor all same team requests, which must be made in writing and turned in at the time of registration, to sports@fremont.gov (please include the barcode). All participants will receive a team shirt and hat.

NEW Introduce your little slugger to the game of baseball/softball.

This class has a variety of fun and lead-up activities with sports and games. Basketball, Soccer, Obstacle courses, Flag Tag, and Bubbles will keep you active with your little one. Kids will start to develop fine motor skills, socializing skills, and listening skills. One parent must attend and be ready to play! Sorry, no unregistered siblings. My First Camp My first camp is an extension of the Tiny Tots Preschool program that features a different theme weekly. Children will grow and explore in a fun enriching preschool experience through a curriculum of activities promoting social, emotional and intellectual growth. Pre Comp Swim Team The 2022 pre comp swim team prep will be available this summer at our Oasis Pool inside Aqua Adventure through pre-registration. Get in shape in our heated pools! Rege’s Soccer Academy In Rege’s Soccer academy players are taught age appropriate skills for them to develop proper soccer fundamentals in a fun and encouraging environment. We have a tailored curriculum that builds on each age’s key/technical skills of dribbling, passing, shooting and control all delivered through fun drills, games and scrimmage time. Aquatic CAMPS Aqua Camp at Aqua Adventure Waterpark Aqua Camp pairs aquatic activities with games, and arts and crafts to keep your kids active and engaged this summer. Extended Care is now offered ONLY for Aqua Camp. Each week this summer will have a fun and exciting theme to go along with lunch, snack, and camp t-shirt. Trained lifeguards on duty at all times. Participants must be comfortable in the water. Life jackets will be provided, with a heavy emphasis on water safety. The Mini Musical & Dance Camps Please note: There are limited speaking roles available. Not everyone will have a speaking part; however, everyone will be performing in dance and/or singing roles. Campers are asked to bring costumes from home for their role in the performance show. On the last day of camp, family is welcome to come see what our little campers have been up to all week. They will put on a short mini performance that will put a smile on everyone’s faces. See you in this magical Summer camp. Junior Golf Camp With years of experience in Junior Golf Camps, our instructors/ assistants provide a fun atmosphere for learning golf swing fundamentals, sportsmanship, rules and etiquette. Central Park

ticipants enrolled in Central PM Extended Care is only for par option for parents who need Park Camps. Extended care is an to 6:00pm. A variety of care for their children from 3:00pm l as a snack. CITY OF FREMONT RELEASE AGREEMENT FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS IN CONSIDERATION OF PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE IN OR USE ANY CITY OF FREMONT (hereinafter referred to as “City”) FACILITIES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS ACTIVITY, THE PARTICIPANT AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING: 1. T HE PARTICIPANT HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE THE CITY OF FREMONT, ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS AND AGENTS (hereinafter referred to as “releasees”) from all liability to the participant, his or her personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin, for any loss, damage, or claim therefore on account of injury to the person, participant’s family member, or property of the participant, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of the releasees or otherwise, while the participant or participant’s family member is participating in a City activity or using any City facilities in connection with the activity. 2. T HE PARTICIPANT HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the releasees from all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, charges, expenses, and attorney fees (including attorney fees to establish the releasees’ right to indemnify incurred on appeal) resulting from involvement in this activity, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of the releasees or otherwise. 3. T HE PARTICIPANT HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE to self or participant’s family member while upon City property or participating in the activity or using any City facilities and equipment, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of releasees or otherwise. The participant expressly agrees that the foregoing release and waiver, indemnity agreement and assumption of risk, are intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by California law and that if any portion thereof is deemed to be held invalid, notwithstanding, the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ THE FOREGOING and I am aware of the legal consequences of this agreement, including the acknowledgement that it prevents me from suing the City or its employees, agents, or officers, if I or my family member is injured or my property is damaged for any reason as a result of participation in this activity. REFUND POLICY Refunds are allowed if requested up to three business days prior to the start of the activity. A $10 per class withdrawal fee will be deducted from your refund. Please allow up to four weeks for receipt of refund by check. TRANSFER POLICY Transfers are allowed up to three business days prior to the start of the class. There is no charge for this service. CANCELLATIONS We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reasonable cause. Should this happen, your fee will be refunded in full or you may transfer to any open class. NON-RESIDENT FEES For persons not residing in Fremont, the fee is $5 in addition to the published fee per class. SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT Seniors (Ages 60+) receive a 10% discount on all classes except those designated for seniors. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE The City of Fremont and many local business and organizations have funded a grant program, which provides financial assistance for Fremont Residents. All requests are kept confidential. For more information about scholarships, please visit Fremont.gov and search scholarships. Donations are tax deductible.
