Camp Max Holiday Fun! Maximum challenge, maximum fun! Week I: The campers will plan and develop a kid-friendly, holiday-related attraction, decide what it should look like and create it out of cardboard and other materials. Jump Start Basketball II This class is a continuation of Jump Start Basketball. Development of the basic skills learned in Jump Start Basketball will be taught and advanced with NEW techniques and skills, along with playing some of the same fun games. Fine motor skills, socializing skills, and listening skills still come into play with this class. It is encouraged for children who have taken Jump Start Basketball.

FLAG FOOTBALL Flag Football League City of Fremont and Fremont Football league are offering Youth Flag Football League for boys and girls (ages 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, & 14-16, ‘as of March 15, 2020’). Season includes 3 weeks of pre-game practices, 8 games and up to 2 weeks of playoffs. Teams will practice a minimum of 1 day a week, with coach/ team option of holding other practices on their own. Practice participation is required, for the safety of all players. Practice schedule will be set after teams are formed, currently scheduled for Feb 13, 2020…practices begin Saturday Feb 15, 2020. CITY OF FREMONT RELEASE AGREEMENT FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS IN CONSIDERATION OF PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE IN OR USE ANY CITY OF FREMONT (hereinafter referred to as “City”) FACILITIES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS ACTIVITY, THE PARTICIPANT AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING: 1. T HE PARTICIPANT HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE THE CITY OF FREMONT, ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS AND AGENTS (hereinafter referred to as “releasees”) from all liability to the participant, his or her personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin, for any loss, damage, or claim therefore on account of injury to the person, participant’s family member, or property of the participant, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of the releasees or otherwise, while the participant or participant’s family member is participating in a City activity or using any City facilities in connection with the activity. 2. T HE PARTICIPANT HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the releasees from all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, charges, expenses, and attorney fees (including attorney fees to establish the releasees’ right to indemnify incurred on appeal) resulting from involvement in this activity, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of the releasees or otherwise. 3. T HE PARTICIPANT HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE to self or participant’s family member while upon City property or participating in the activity or using any City facilities and equipment, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of releasees or otherwise. The participant expressly agrees that the foregoing release and waiver, indemnity agreement and assumption of risk, are intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by California law and that if any portion thereof is deemed to be held invalid, notwithstanding, the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ THE FOREGOING and I am aware of the legal consequences of this agreement, including the acknowledgement that it prevents me from suing the City or its employees, agents, or officers, if I or my family member is injured or my property is damaged for any reason as a result of participation in this activity. I further acknowledge that no oral representations, statements or inducements have been made. Registration Policies Requests for withdrawals/transfers can be submitted at www.Fremont.gov/ RegeRecRequest REFUND POLICY Refunds are allowed if requested up to three business days prior to the start of the activity. A $10 per class withdrawal fee will be deducted from your refund. Please allow up to four weeks for receipt of refund by check. TRANSFER POLICY Transfers are allowed up to three business days prior to the start of the class. There is no charge for this service. CANCELLATIONS We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reasonable cause. Should this happen, your fee will be refunded in full or you may transfer to any open class. NON-RESIDENT FEES For persons not residing in Fremont, the fee is $5 in addition to the published fee per class. SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT Seniors (Ages 60+) receive a 10% discount on all classes except those designated for seniors. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE The City of Fremont and many local business and organizations have funded a grant program, which provides financial assistance for Fremont Residents. All requests are kept confidential. For more information about scholarships, please visit Fremont.gov/ Scholarships. Donations are tax deductible. If you are a qualified person with disability and you need accomodation to participate, contact Recreation Services at (510) 494-4300 at least (2) working days in advance.
