BEAUTY AND THE BEAST By Vera Morris. As punishment for rebuffing a powerful witch, a selfish prince becomes a true ‘beast’ until someone will love him for himself. Many years later, a poor widow stumbles onto the castle and innocently plucks a forbidden rose. The Beast sentences her to death, but first allows her to return home and bid farewell to her family. There we meet her two unpleasant daughters and son-in-laws who think she’s insane. But her third daughter, Beauty, agrees to go to the castle and stay with the Beast if her mother’s life is spared. Musical Theater Fremont! offers a musical experience for budding youth actors. Hamilton-esque WE THE PEOPLE, celebrates America with beautiful, patriotic music-from America’s favorite anthems to poignant and uplifting original compositions. This patriotic tableau begins as a committee discusses putting on a patriotic show for their town. Just what does America mean to them? Through a series of sketches and songs organized phrase by phrase from the Preamble, they show not only how the Constitution applies to our past, but also to our present and future. Everyday life is showcased in both funny and touching vignettes, offering a variety of moods as it explores the deeper meanings of the language of the Constitution. All become part of this patchwork quilt of American life. All will perform in a live performance at the Niles Veterans Hall for family and friends on Saturday, Jun.10. Part of being in an academy is that players are coached the correct skills at the correct ages for them to develop and the best possible rates in the game of soccer. At US Soccer Coaching we have a specific curriculum tailored to build on each ages key technical skills of dribbling, passing, shooting and control all wrapped in an age appropriate structure. Players will have a technical warm up for the first 15 minutes then be taken through more technical training of that skill with a higher degree of challenge in each new drill, then ending with a scrimmage for the final 15-20 minutes. NEW: All players will get a t-shirt from USSC! Shin guards are required. Bring water. All USSC coaches have a USSF license and have specialist training and certifications.
