Treat your kids to an imaginative experience this Spring break inspiring creativity and building confidence in a small group setting. Through individual attention, instructors encourage self-expression, and teach art appreciation for different mediums and styles. Kids learn to use their hands, head, and heart working on individual projects such as painting, drawing, baking and decorating; and many other fun arts and crafts both indoor and outdoor. LEGO Master Builders Competition

Each day, you’ll be presented with a mystery project to build, just like the TV show, LEGO Masters. You will be provided with building tips and tricks, and then have a set time to create your masterpiece using LEGOs you have at home. At the end of the session, you will present your creation, and privately vote for the project you like the most. All attendees have a chance to think creatively, build efficiently, present to others, and share with a community of builders who love LEGOs! Space engineers get ready to build LEGO spacecraft, planetary rovers, robots and aliens! We’ll even design some favorite Star Wars space fighters and droids. It’s a great social and creative experience for LEGO builders. AQUATICS & ARTS American Swim Academy

The camps run for 30 minutes each. Infants to young adults can learn to swim, improve their techniques and learn poolside safety from the American Swim Academy at the Fremont location (Technology Place, off Auto Mall Pkwy) or the Newark location (Cedar Blvd., off Thornton Ave.).All camps are taught by American Swim Academy staff in indoor pools heated to 92 degrees, creating a warm, inviting environment. Camps class ratios are small and are intended for the beginner to intermediate swimmer. You must wear a swimsuit and bring a towel. Open registration will close at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday Feb. 16th. No refunds will be given for cancellation after Thursday Feb18th. Contact an American Swim Academy Representative directly after this date to receive credit toward future camps at American Swim Academy. A $25 cancellation fee applies per student. ** You will be contacted by an American Swim Academy Representative prior to Feb. 26th. to confirm your class day and time. Ceramics for Adults

Plein Air Painting

Paint outside in a relaxed and fun setting! Develop skills in composition, shapes, color mixing/matching, and color harmony in an urban, outdoor, greenspace environment. REGISTRATION POLICIES*

Requests for withdrawals/transfers must be submitted at Fremont.gov/RegeRecRequest REFUND POLICY Refunds are allowed if requested up to seven (7) calendar days prior to the start of the activity. A $10 per class withdrawal fee will be deducted from your refund. TRANSFER POLICY Transfers are allowed if requested up to seven (7) calendar days prior to the start of the activity. There is no charge for this service. CANCELLATIONS We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reasonable cause. Should this happen, your fee will be refunded in full or you may transfer to any open class. NON-RESIDENT FEES For persons not residing in Fremont, the fee is $5 in addition to the published fee per class. Visit Fremont.gov/Recreation for details.
