A $10 per class withdrawal fee will be deducted from your refund. Please allow up to four weeks for receipt of refund by check. TRANSFER POLICY Transfers are allowed up to three business days prior to the start of the class. There is no charge for this service. CANCELLATIONS The Community Services Department reserves the right to cancel a class for any reasonable cause. Should this happen, your fee will be refunded in full or you may transfer to any open class. NON-RESIDENT FEES For persons not residing in Fremont, the fee is $5 in addition to the published fee per class. SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT Seniors (Ages 60+) receive a 10% discount on all classes except those designated for seniors. Requests for withdrawals/transfers must be made in writing via email, fax, in person, or our online form.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE The City of Fremont and many local business and organizations have funded a grant program, which provides financial assistance for Fremont Residents. For information regarding eligibility for reduced fees, please call (510) 494-4300. All requests are kept confidential. Should you or your business wish to contribute to this scholarship program, call (510) 494-4300. Donations are tax deductible.
