SCHOOL BREAK CAMPS Autumn Afternoon Camp @ Centerville Park

We know that our Fremont youth are working hard to cope in a new virtual educational world and need a safe space to engage socially, play, and be active. Our Autumn Afternoon Camp offers kids a chance to be interactive with one another-socializing, playing games, staying active and making new friends in an afternoon of creative activities. Our camp adheres to current State and County public health orders and includes numerous protocols to maintain social distancing and other relevant measures to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus. All social distancing and proper hygiene and sanitation requirements will be followed and increased outdoor activities are included when weather permits. Campers and staff will be required to wear face coverings and daily health screenings will be conducted. Bring snacks, water, and sunscreen. Tennis Thanksgiving & Holiday Camp (Red, Orange & Green)

Campers will use age-appropriate tennis balls and court size: 5-7 years old – Red Ball on 36-ft court; 8-10 years old – Orange Ball on a 60-ft court; 11-12 years old – Green Dot Ball on regular tennis court; 13-17 years old – Regular tennis ball on regular size court. Instruction will focus on strokes, rules, and singles and doubles match play. Campers should wear sturdy tennis shoes (no black soles). Bring lunch, snack, and a racquet if you have one. We will be following all Covid-19 Safety protocols to ensure participants safety. Camp Max Outdoor Adventure

It’s winter break and time to be outdoors with your friends creating new experiences! Join in fun-filled adventures in outdoor skills development like hiking, nature activities, scavenger hunts, cooking, sports, arts, and games. Teen Zine & Book Making

Publish your own stories and comics! Students will learn basic bookbinding and how to make their own zines, self -published works with a small circulation. Due to the freeform nature of zines and DIY publishing, students will be given open-ended projects guided by self-expression. Projects can focus on art, short stories, poems, or collage. Plein Air Painting

Paint outside! Artists of all styles and skill levels welcome! This course focuses on acrylic painting outside in an urban green space environment. Rege’s Soccer Academy

In Rege’s Soccer academy players are taught age appropriate skills for them to develop proper soccer fundamentals in a fun and encouraging environment. We have a tailored curriculum that builds on each age’s key/ technical skills of dribbling, passing, shooting and control all delivered through fun drills, games and scrimmage time. Each class includes a 15 minute warm up, technical skill development with an emphasis each week and 15-20 minutes of scrimmage to apply what we have learned that week. Shin guards are required. Jump Start Basketball

This class has all the fun and excitement of dribble tag, PASS-ketball, and mini games, but that’s not all. Kids will develop very basic skills in passing, ball handling, and team play.
