PreK April 20-24 General Information Routines are crucial for younger students, try to do school work in the same place at the same time and in the same order every day. Daily your student should engage in phonemic awareness, reading, writing, working with numbers, counting and thinking. -Keep letter tiles and sight words to use daily throughout the end of school. -Read a book to your student every day or use Unite For Literacy, it is a safe site for students to listen to books, use the QR code to scan with your camera app on your phone or tablet. - To put the book together, fold in half top to bottom then cut on the fold line, put pages in order according to the circled numbers. RLA (Reading Language Arts) Read a book, count sounds in a word or words in a sentence, review sight words, letters and sounds as well as have your student write ABCs, names, words, letters, numbers and sight words. Rhyme, everyday say three rhyming words, then help your student think up a real or silly word that rhymes.

April 20 - 24 Art Lesson Choices: Art Journal  Journal at least one art sketch a day.  It can be something you see outside, something you do with your family, or something that makes you happy! Tracing  Find small objects around your home that you can trace( with your parents' permission). See how many different designs you can make and color in to make one collage. Ice Cream Cones  Attached you will find an ice cream cone sheet that can be colored, cut, and glued together. Get creative and make every ice cream scoop a different flavor!
