Making Fruit & Vegetables fun for kids!

¡ 12 to 13 years: 2 serves of fruit & 5 to 5 ½ serves of vegetables.

However, raising healthy eaters with the right attitude to food, and getting them to consume the recommended daily intake of fruit & vegetables, can seem overwhelming, so here are some simple yet fun tips & tricks, to get your little ones enjoying fruit & vegetables:

Make Shapes

Cutting or arranging a variety of fresh fruit & vegetables into fun & interesting shapes such as butterflies, hearts and caterpillars, makes fruit & vegetables more enticing for kids, and while it may seem daunting, it’s quick, easy and not only fun for the whole family, it’s also an opportunity for your children to be creative and exercise their artistic skills.
