The A better choice! "Shop & Win" campaign officially kicked off at the start of March. Shop & Win is a national competition incentivising Aussies to support their local fruit and veg shop.
A better choice! has a vast social media campaign aimed to drive consumers to shop at their local fruit and vegetable store or independent supermarket. Customers nominate their local store and upload a copy of their receipt through QR codes on the provided point of sale, putting them in the draw to win. There will be a new winner each week, and customers can enter as many times as they like but only once per receipt. Those who don't live close by to their favourite fruit and veg shop have the option of nominating their store online — customers can nominate online once a month. Customers go in the draw to win a fantastic range of technology, electronics, and kitchenware. This year, Victorian stores have been decked out by our Merchandiser, Camille. Camille has been very busy visiting over 70 of our member stores in Victoria over the last month. The new A better choice! branding looks fabulous and has been well received by store owners; in fact, we have stores calling to ask for more. The Victorian A better choice! Committee is making it our mission to get 100% of our ABC retailers decked out with merchandise in the coming months. BE IN THE RUNNING TO BE THE A BETTER CHOICE! RETAILER OF THE YEAR. By scanning the QR code in-store or by nominating your store, each customer that enters takes you one step closer to winning. So be sure to mention Shop & Win to every customer that comes through your door! We will provide regular updates on the top stores, give you tips on how to improve your nominations, and announce the winner later in the year. Winners are calculated on the number of nominations a store receives in the way of entering the competition in-store or nominating the store online. We will award a national retailer of the year from the nominations received. Aside from the big winner, we will recognise the winner and top ten stores in each state.
