Yenchenyawen Design Studio Yenchenyawen studio was founded byYen Chen and Ya Wen in 2015. Based in London, the studio designs and makes handcrafted objects in which unorthodox material combinations are manipulated by traditional and experimental techniques.Landscape of Oxidation is a collection of Jesmonite products whose surfaces have evolved over time. Influenced by the philosophy and aesthetic of Kintsugi, and embracing the inherently unstable processes of copper patination and iron oxidation, each object, every one a unique cast, pauses and captures the beauty of a fleeting moment of deterioration.

The tea light holder collection covers up a range of techniques which each showcase it’s uniqueness and individuality.

The jewellery tray collection are delicately crafted through several process of copper patination - which needed to be buried up for at least three days for the patterns to naturally grow. We’ve developed a technique seamlessly grafted the broken pieces of tray together with silvery metal.

LED Nightlight The LED nightlight gently defusing the light emitted inside the Jesmonite base through a bubble embedded perspex bar. Each torch has a built in rechargeable battery, and is magnetically attached to the charging base. This allows light source to be able to carry away in the house or out to backyard.

Shiba candle evolves from single color to colorful inkjet. Now there are two selections including Black Shiba are available and have been popular in Japan, England, and Taiwan! After complicated processes including shaping, infusing the material into the mold, releasing from the mold, and inkjet, paint coating is the most important step. The main focuses during the inkjet process are on the pink color of Shibas' inner ears and the black moist nose.

TEA LIGHT 147 Candle Holder Tea Light 147 is inspired by a simple idea of making the luminous intensity of candlelight literally dimmable. The reversible dish-shaped holder, with concentric rings engraved on the bottoms, presents three positioning choices for tea lights in the numbers of 1, 4 or 7; also works as a steady plate for larger candles in different sizes. In addition to the front hooks for hanging outerwear, the linear tray created by a bent metal sheet presents an inner room for small personal belongings, such as keys, coins and other pocket stuff. The front and side edges are shaped with curves, thus being capable to carry hangers, mails or newspapers. CAMO

ColorUp is a lamp that can mimic the color of any object or surface. By using the color frequencies detecting and transforming technique, users are able to suck in few hundred frequencies of colors and beam it through the light bulb.

It is a picture of a lamp, but when you pull the switch, light comes out of from within the picture. CAMO comes in different styles and different picture themes, but in general it is a piece of art display that no one would expect it to shine as a light source.
