Mufun Design Studio has dedicated itself to making the wood-craft art an optimal delight by combining more fun and creativity. The studio was founded by two passionate designers with a common love for wooden figures. They make an effort to exhibit multiple Taiwanese cultures in every animal figure. 日本の伝統工芸「金継ぎ」からインスピレーションを得 て、オブジェクトの欠点を隠すのではなく、その疵を特徴 として、職人の技術で物のストーリーを語る作品。三日 間の酸化工程でできる青サビの模様と色合いをそのま ま、それぞれの破片を独自の技法を用いて金属でつ なげ て 完 成 し た こ のジュエリートレー は、シームレスで、 その繊細さが味わい深い。
吹きガラスと樹脂素材との組み合わせでできた花瓶。樹 脂の模様と色合いは三日間の酸化工程でできる青サビ をそのままみせている。
The form is inspired by a philosophy from the Japanese art of pottery repairing – “Kintsugi”. We created a new casting method inspired by this ancient technique to repair cracked Jesmonite with tin and bismuth alloy. As a result, the product presents a beautiful and elegant platform to compliment precious jewelleries.
