Granny’s Holiday Cookie Recipe

CHRISTMAS VANILLA CRESCENT COOKIES Granny’s

Ingredients

1 Cup 3/4 Cup 1 Large 1 TSP Butter Granular Sugar Egg Vanilla Extract 1 TSP 2 Cups 1 Cup

Baking Powder All-Purpose Flour Finely Chopped Walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven 350ºF Cream butter and add sugar gradually. Add egg and vanilla, and beat well. Combine baking powder and flour and then add to the dough. Add walnuts to the dough. Roll spoonfuls into small balls, then roll into logs and shape into a crescent: Bake for 10 - 15 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes and sift icing sugar over the cookies! Tip: Don’t completely close cookie container for storage
