Ingredients

1 Cup Butter (salted or unsalted) 1 Large Egg 1 Cup Granular Sugar 1 TSP Vanilla Extract 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour 2 TSP Baking Powder 1 Bag Mini peanut butter or caramel cups 1 Tube Frosting of your choice! Optional: Festive sprinkles, candies and edible glitters are a great addition to decorating your sugar cookies! Preheat oven 350ºF Cream together butter & sugar until it’s fluffy! Then add your egg and vanilla, mix well. Add flour and baking powder to the bowl. Mix it all together until the dough is pliable. (Tip: Add water if consistency is crumbly, or flour if it’s too wet) Roll out on floured surface with rolling pin until 1/4” thick. Use the cookie cutter of your choice and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 6-8 minutes, or until the centers are puffy and no longer shiny. (Tip: Take them out before they turn brown. This will insure that they stay soft and chewy.)
