Living In a Dump Individual project 2021.11-2022.1 People consume a lot of resources, mass production, a lot of consumption, and a lot of waste. The mountain of garbage disposal not only takes a toll on people's health, but also endangers other life on earth.Waste and management education and advocacy are increasingly important for global resource management. In fact, people do not know how much harm their way of life will bring to nature. In the project of the immersive Pavilion, the design looks for the behavior of waste production in daily life, and traces back to the source to find the pollution generated in the whole process from production to disposal. The design of the real life scene to be exaggerated to a certain extent, satirizing the waste of pollution in life. In addition, there is a separate passage in the exhibition flow line. Visitors step on the stairs in the passage, and the Windows are opened to form a relationship between seeing and being seen, increasing the interaction.

Garbage Problem

Waste Produced In A Day BeiJing

Garbage contains many disease- offsetting. Hospital environmental pollution and Garbage is a global problem. All the world's cities produce 1.3 billion tons of municipal solid waste each year, and by 2025, that number will reach 2 billion. Two billion tons of garbage, that's the equivalent of a long line of garbage trucks that can fill up to 5,000 kilometers a day, which is the distance from Beijing to Bangkok. Our rubbish has piled up like a mountain. Bangkok

Garbage Pollution

Every morning I get up and I take care of my skin . I have a lot of makeup, and washcloths and cotton pads.

Exposure to air pollution accounts for about 3 million deaths each year.In 2016, air pollution in urban and rural areas caused an estimated 4.2 million premature deaths worldwide due to exposure to particulate matter 2.5 microns or less in diameter (PM2.5), which can cause cardiovascular and respiratory diseases and cancer.

I usually make my own breakfast, sometimes I buy sandwiches or bread . After I eat I drive to work .

About 8 million tons of plastic waste enter the ocean each year, all of which could circle the earth 420 times. More than 50 species of fish are found eating plastic waste, and at least 1 billion Marine creatures are killed by plastic products every year.

In the office , I have to sort out a lot of paperwork . For lunch , I often order takeaway or buy a quick meal from a convenience store .

The result of pollution is to increase the content of harmful ingredients such as phenol, chromium, mercury, arsenic, radioactive substances, bacteria and organic matter in groundwater.

Before I go home from work, I go to the supermarket to buy food and necessities. I also buy a lot of deliveries and it's easy to shop online now. It is estimated that 95% of our food comes directly or indirectly from the soil. While urban growth has led to more landfills, industrialization, war, mining and intensive agriculture have all contributed to soil pollution around the world.

Untreated domestic sewage, hospital sewage, factory wastewater and garbage discharged into water or soil can increase the number of eggs, bacteria and pathogens in the water and soil environment, threatening human health.

I have a lot of clothes, but I still buy a lot of new clothes every season . After dinner, I wash up and go to bed .

Education And Publicity Measures

The History Of The Exhibition

People consume a lot of resources, mass production, a lot of consumption, and a lot of waste. The mountain of garbage disposal not only takes a toll on people's health, but also endangers other life on earth.Waste and management education and advocacy are increasingly important for global resource management. In fact, the effect of these education and publicity is not ideal, people do not know how much harm their way of life will bring to nature. How to warn people of the harm of garbage and solve the garbage problem from the source, the immersive museum may be a way.

The Way We Get Information

Under the influence of the Renaissance of the 14th century, Cabinets of Curiosities appeared, which are treasures of the wealthy.

In 1855, Gustav Courbet began to try to simplify the way exhibitions presented their environment.In 19 7 6 , t h e a r t i s t and critic Brian O 'Doherty named this gallery's popular display "White Cube."

Born during the French Revolution in 1793, the Louvre museum was the first public museum in France.

In 1753, the British Museum, originally from private donations, was founded and opened to the upper middle class.

With the birth of various exhibition forms, the white cube model of exhibition is gradually challenged...

This is a giant device that presses collected plastic waste food models before placing them on the table. A metaphor for the widespread presence of plastic particles on marine species due to white pollution, which are re-ingested by humans when eating these foods.

This room is floating with pieces of paper and the printer keeps printing paper.Life, especially in an office environment, generates a lot of paper waste; paper documents, printed materials, packaging cartons, etc.

Pesticides, fertilisers and manure cause salinisation of the land and eutrophication of water bodies. Food waste produces many disease-causing micro-organisms that often end up in water systems.

Thousands of grids make up the walls of rooms, and people buy countless unnecessary clothes, which is reinforced by the advent of fast fashion. Fast fashion, which is only "in" for about 35 days, produces 400 per cent more carbon emissions than conventional products. People might start to reflect on this when they are surrounded by all the clothes they have worn in their lives.

Masquerade Market Individual project, graduation project, 2022.2-2022.6 Based on the problem of identity anxiety in contemporary society, the work takes the text of the Dream of red Mansions as the narrative research object, and designs an antique market in the Bell and Drum Tower Square. Facing the situation of "identity anxiety" in contemporary social life, the architectural elements such as structure, wall and interface, passageway, stairs and roof are organized to edit the spatial relationship from the perspective of "identity anxiety" in a narrative way, and form a temporary exhibition, consumption and social space design -- "Masquerade" market. The design refers to all kinds of identity relations in contemporary society from the text roles, and the market becomes a "phenomenon field" where various identities collide.

Ruins Party Individual work 2022.7-2022.9 Since the arrival of the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020 and the series of economic crises, the mood has once again been one of escape from reality. Young people are now starting to "lie flat", hoping to have fun in the fleeting moment. The development of society has taken a decentralised path, with young people escaping from the world according to their own interests, and as a result there are more and more small groups of people avoiding the dominant rules of society and creating new ones. The design tries to establish new rules that break rules, to give young people in social crisis a space to escape from the mainstream society and a place to organize activities spontaneously

History of Ruins party

Routine of Entry The Space Ruins party refer to grassroots organised, anti-establishment and unlicensed

Recently, due to the recurring New Crown epidemic, clubs and nightclubs in China have come to a near standstill and many have officially announced their closure. The only ones that have opened have taken the form of booking restrictions, and everyone lives in a tense and depressing atmosphere where entertainment is sacrificed to 'non-essentials' . In this situation, the 'Ruins Party' was born. Research has shown that parties like this have been around since the 80s and almost always thrive in a relatively repressed social climate where people need a 'breather'. Venues For Parties Underground partygoers around the world have thrown parties in a variety of venues. Abandoned factories have been transformed into clubs, unused warehouses have been converted into bars and artists have painted the walls. Lights and sound systems are put in and the ruins are ready for dancing.

Future Data Factory Individual project, 2022.10-2022.12 Capitalist societies have entered the era of digital capitalism. The new interaction of capital, technology and power in the context of big data has shaped a new form of digital capitalism characterised by digital labour, digital surveillance and digital interaction. In his article Postscript on the Soceities of Control, the French post-philosopher Deleuze points out that the information age is no longer a society of surveillance, as Foucault called it, but a transition to a society of control. In the control society, the corporation replaces the state as the subject of control in the face of the sweep of capital and the overwhelming force of globalisation.

Presented as a data factory, this design aims to show what is behind the screen, to allow people realize and watch what is inside the black box, enabling us to perceive the hidden dimension. In the background, a company called Pineapple holds the reins of power and has a monopoly on all technology......

Behind the screen The Privacy of Data is unavoidably an alerting topic today, while data surveillance mechanisms are the black box. We don't have a chance to do reverse surveillance, when the concept of personal privacy and the public is violated and reconstructed by the capitalism created by the algorithm. This design is intended to show what is behind the screen, to allow people realize and watch what is inside the black box, enabling us to perceive the hidden dimension.

Perfect Persona Group project 2021.8-2021.9 Conceptualization, scene design, model making, video editing, sound editing Persona, the public image of an individual towards society, is a symbol of personification presented according to the wishes of the owner. The Internet platform, which has created opportunities for the general public to speak to society and showcase their individuality, has also stimulated the need and ability for further participation, and persona has effectively become a mass, social phenomenon. The persona in the Internet era is a self-reaction of the real person, and a vehicle for the real person to travel between the virtual and the real. With the internet and social media, has our persona become detached from our true selves and become a false shell?

The design takes this as an entry point and intends to recreate the scenario of people choosing the perfect persona for themselves in response to feedback from society and others. Is it true that the unaccepted self should be hidden and discarded?

Social phenomenon collage Net Love Online love refers to the use of the Internet as a medium, using chat tools to chat with each other, and fall in love. People can use social media to shape their personas and create more advantages in choosing partners.

Idol persona With the popularity of popular culture and the development of the film and entertainment industry, "persona" has become associated with star-making, creating a "celebrity persona" that goes beyond the work. However, there have been numerous incidents of "persona collapse".

Online persona The persona in the Internet era is a self-reaction of the real person, and a vehicle for the real person to travel between the virtual and the real. Which do you think is the real you, the Internet or reality?

Goffman’s dramaturgical theory People's Daily life — Drama performance

Real self— Backstage

People — Performers Social image — Front stage

Society — Stage

Goffman’s dramaturgical theory borrows the point of view of drama theory, compares society to the stage, compares every individual in the society to the performer on the stage, in order to explore how everyone designs and establishes roles and performances in front of the stage in daily life so as to create a good image of themselves in front of others. Acting script, impression management and "front and back" stage are the main components of the theory of drama. The front stage self is the self that we are likely to show to the world. The backstage self refers to that aspect of self which we really are.

Human behavior is affected by light changes in space

> 4 Carl Jung Theories Explained: Persona, Shadow, Anima/ Animus, The Self. < Dramaturgy: the stage thus becomes a metaphor where we act in ways that fulfill our need to be accepted in society. —theoretical reference

When the lights stay on, people ignore the scene and go straight through.

When the lights are off, people slowly pass because of the darkness

When the light is always on, audience turn off the light when they just enter the space. Audience will stop and observe the environment because of the change of the environment

At this point, it is suitable to guide the audience to interact with the device. When the audience leaves, the light is on, and the audience may return to experience it again

Experiment with light < The change in light brings about a change in the center of vision. When the outside light is stronger, the translucent partition becomes an almost opaque entity, and the focus naturally shifts to the outside or the partition itself. When the internal light of the translucent partition is stronger, the internal scene will appear through the translucent partition, and people will pay attention to the scene behind.
