Create Your Own Rutherford!
Grab your art supplies! One way to have fun is to create something out of what you have at home. Bring your own owl to life by following the below instructions: Supplies: - Construction paper (multiple colors, including black and white) - Craft glue - Scissors - Yarn Directions: 1. Grab 5 different colored pieces of construction paper. (You can use any colors, but make sure you have 1 black and 1 white.) 2. Cut 1 large circle out of the first color sheet and 1 medium circle out of the second color sheet. Cut 2 small and 2 extra small circles out of the white sheet. Cut 2 extra small circles out of the black sheet. 3. Use the next color sheet to cut out wings, feet and ears. Use the last color sheet to cut out a beak. 4. Glue the medium circle onto the middle of the large circle. To make eyes, glue your 2 small white circles towards the top of the medium circle, then glue the extra small black circles on top of those, and the extra small white circles on top of the black ones. 5. Glue the ears, wings, beak and feet onto your owl. Allow all glue to dry. 6. You can create a a hanger for your owl by taping a piece of yarn to the back!
