The
Hive
The grocery store experience is one that is often dated and disengaged from the current digitized culture. Shoppers feel disconnected from their grocers and disconnected from their local communities. Gourmet Grocer’s “ The Hive” is a hub for those in search of purpose in belonging. Its conceptual direction establishes a sense of comeraderie with the members of the community. Beginning with a peek into the process of production and packaging, and continuing through the space, one is always connected and encouraged to participate in the process of food making.
- ENGAGEMENT through food making - EDUCATION on local amenities and wildlife -establish THIRD PLACE with comfortable WORK and CONVERSATIONAL ZONES
