Jigpara Micro (MCJPM)

The MajorCraft Jigpara range of jigs were released in 2017 with both lead and tungsten jigs in a variety of styles. One of the ranges, the Jigpara Micro has now received an update with a new 1.5 gram jig, rigged with a hook off the front.

These jigs are all true micro jigs with the range now covering 3-15 grams. This style of jig has been custom designed for the smaller estuary and fresh water species.

They sink horizontally with minimal side to side action and are perfect for bream and aggressive predatory fish.

Micro ACTION

Jigpara Short (MCJPS)

The Short is pre-rigged with both front and back hooks and is excellent cast from a boat or the shore, yet will also work vertically. The jig features the ‘tough body’, 5-layer coating for maximum durability.

This is available from 20-60 grams making it an ideal inshore jig with a tight shimmer action on the fall.

Jigpara Slow Pitch (MCJPSLOW)

The slow pitch jigs are extremely popular with an oval design that encourages it slice through the water on a lift but fall slowly with a wide seductive flutter on the drop. They are suitable for all demersal offshore species from kingfish to coral trout in the north. They can be used vertically or cast from the shore and are rear weighted for casting.

They come in a variety of weights and are pre-rigged with a double assist on the front and single on the rear.

Jigpara Tungsten (MCJPTG)

The Tungsten jigs are designed for those days that you need ultra finesse jigs to get a bite. The tungsten material offers excellent weight to profile margins meaning you can have a smaller jig that is heavier and falls slower. These jigs are suitable for bream and bass plus light offshore use for larger predators. They have a tight shimmer on the fall.

They are rear weighted for excellent shore casting ability and pre-rigged with a single assist front and treble on the rear.

Jigpara Vertical Short (MCJPV)

The MajorCraft Jigpara Vertical Short jigs are an all new addition to the range. The fall action is a slide backward while the lure maintains and falls horizontally with a shimmer.

When jerked, the MajorCraft Jigpara Vertical Short has a regular classic erratic action.

There are 80, 100, 120, 150, 180 weight jigs all with a tough 5 layer coating to reduce paint wear. This makes them ideal and better able to handle tough drops onto rocky bottoms

Jigpara Vertical Long (MCJPVL)

The vertical long are a classic deepwater jig designed for vertical jigging. Suitable for kingfish and other hard fighting fish, they have a wide slide action on the lift and an irregular fall on the drop.

They are available in 100 up to 300 grams weights making them ideal for deep dropping.

TThe Jigpara Vertical Long Slow features a unique design that combines a long slender body with a slow-sinking action. The Majorcraft range of JigPara jigs covers all styles of jigging from shore to boat, fast vertical to slow pitch. To compliment the range of jigs, Majorcraft have introduced new solid and split ring assemblies to make switching out hooks a breeze.

The new Octoku accessories come in three types are perfect for all jig types and can be used on any brand jig.

The combi is a solid ring with a split ring added. It is available in #4, 5 and 6. It is perfect for adding a jigging hook which you can purchase pre-rigged or make your own with dacron.

The other accessories are a plain split ring in sizes #3, 4, 5, 6 and a solid ring in sizes #4, 5, 6, 6.5 and 7.
