ASSIST HOOK

ZOC Assist Hooks are now available as DUAL, SINGLE or TANDEM sets. They come in a range of hook sizes and cord lengths to suit all your jigging requirements.

Zoc Assist Hook Sizes

ZOC Assist Hooks

The ZOC assist hooks are an inward facing jigging assist hook designed to be as light as possible. The hooks are ultra-sharp and feature a blade point to reduce resistance and improve hook-ups, no matter the target.

The hooks are connected to a solid 200 plus pound ring with ultra-strong cord with a strength determined by the hook size. The connection to the cord and hook eye is coated with a high hardness epoxy called Z-HARD COAT. This makes them lighter, reduce water resistance of the cord and improves durability.

The cord length also comes in a variety of lengths from 10mm to 50mm. There is the perfect hook for any jig.

ZOC Assist Hooks Duel

The ZOC Duel is duel hooks joined to assist in better hookups.

ZOC Assist Hook Tandem

The ZOC Tandem is dual free swing hooks.

ZOC Assist Hooks Single

The ZOC Single is a standard single hook.

Egi Zo Squid Jigs

The popular range of Egi Zo squid lures have been a hit for anglers chasing squid all over the country. Initially offered in 11 standard colours, Majorcraft have now added Glow, Blue glow and UV finishes. These colours are impregnated into the clear body of the jig, not the cloth colouring.

The Glow is effective in situations where you are looking for high appeal. Areas such as muddy water and even night, this colour will be the difference. It is considered in Japan to be an excellent prospecting or searching colour.

Blue Glow is considered an all-rounder, suitable for night and day. They say that blue glow is identified easily by squid and therefore is an excellent colour to draw in hungry squid.

The UV is an exceptional daytime option. The UV absorbs and emits ultra-violet rays and emits that light. It is a proven attractor for squid in high pressure locations.

Egizo Bait Feather (MCEB)

The Bait Feather series uses reverse bird feathers designed by the renowned Dr. Sonoda. The reverse “bait feather” imitates the chest fin of small fish and can produce a light sharp dart action by minimizing the resistance at the time of the rod movement. In addition, it has a large effect on the lure’s flight trajectory, reducing air resistance and increasing the casting distance. The sinker shape is also designed to suppresses water resistance as much as possible and reduce snagging.

Available in a variety of colours, the new jigs come in glow, blue glow, UV and standard effects. These are impregnated into the clear body of the jig, not the cloth colouring.

Available in 1.8 and 2.5 sizes.

Egizo (MCEGZ)

The Majorcraft Egi Zo jig design uses a sharp nose to encourage a sharp darting action while on the body, a side edge ensures the jig falls with stable attitude. These are a slow sinking jig that makes them stay in the strike zone longer. Perfect for areas with low flow and shallow depth.

We use a durable cloth covering which aids the lures temperature variation to the surrounding water. The ultra-fine spikes, or hooks are coated in fluorine and black for a stealthy approach to squid angling.

The large life-like eye resembles that of the favourite prey of the squid, a prawn. A feather adds movement as the lure drifts down in the current.

They are available in 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 sizes, offering a wide variety for boat and shore-based anglers.
