Youth Church 2015
Kids Zone Wavertree activities start at 10.45am and children for all groups need to register in the foyer by 10.30am. A parent room is open at the back of the main hall with a live video feed of the meeting. • Twinkles (up to age 2)
E2 (years 7 and 8) will be meeting in classroom 2 this week. E3 (years 9-11) will be meeting fortnightly. Their dates are 27th Sept, 11th Oct, 18th Oct, 8th Nov. Unstoppable will be meeting fortnightly from next week.
• Explorers (age 2) • Sparklers (ages 3-5) • Transformers (school years 1-2) • All Stars (school years 3-6) Kids Zone Central at the 5pm service, there are activities for children aged 0-11; Children need to be registered before the start of the meeting.
Be Fighters Girls conference

“Be” is a new girls conference for girls aged 11-18; the theme for this year is FIGHTERS. Focusing on raising the girls’ warrior spirits, understanding the battle that goes on in our heads and hearts; focusing on being fighters in the world, in our spiritual lives and in our minds. We need some wonderful volunteers over the duration of the conference; could you help us by: Being a prayer warrior? (praying for the girls over the weekend) Being on the resource team? Being a steward? Being a dancer? This would mean coming to a number of rehearsals and dancing on stage for the creative openers. Rehearsals will begin 23rd Sept, Frontline Centre 7-9pm. All in nights (years 7-11) will be every Friday evening, 7-9pm during the 40 day season (last one 9th Oct) All youth will need to be checked in at the registration point in the foyer by 10:30am Youth Communities for different ages meet during the week. A New Story

We are part of a story which is bigger and greater than our own lives, stretching back thousands of years and reaching forwards into eternity. What might it look like to play our part in this story today? We believe that in this season God wants to do something new in our church and in our lives and are excited to discover more of this. Caesar Kalinowski is passionate about people living intentionally as families on mission. Come and hear him share his experiences and be encouraged, empowered and equipped for what God has called us to. On November 1st, we will be gathering together for a one day conference at Frontline Wavertree; 10am - 4pm. There will be activities for under 11s which will need to be booked in advance more details coming soon. Book the date in your diary!

Calais Donations

To continue to help the Calais refugee crisis,p the Calais donation station (Big Yellow Self Storage, 48 Mill Lane Liverpool L13 5TF) is open on Wednesday 23rd Sept 7-9pm and Saturday 26th Sept 10am-12 noon. Could you help by donating items such as heavy duty shoes, gloves, scarves, hats, coats, tarpaulins, tinned/sealed food (no pork or pasta) tents or sleeping bags.

40 days We’re now two weeks into our ’40 Days’ season of prayer, fasting and reflection and have had some great times in our prayer meetings. Just a reminder of the various prayer meetings throughout the week: Monday to Friday - Join Frontline staff to share God’s word, take communion and pray. 9:15-10am, Frontline Centre. Tuesday - An evening of prayer and worship; 7-10pm, Frontline Centre Wednesday - Morning prayer meeting; 7-9am, Frontline Centre Thursday - Morning prayer meeting; 7-8am, Toxteth Tabernacle Friday - Morning prayer meeting; 7-8am, Adelphi Hotel board room We will be ending our 40 days of prayer with a family feast together 16th October, 5.30-8:30pm at Frontline Wavertree - details to follow!
