Welcome to Frontline Church New Here?

We're a church that aims to be more of an extended family than an organisation. We’re so pleased you came along! The next step is to connect to a missional community; they are the heartbeat of our church.

Stories Hey Frontline Family!

Psalm 96:2-4 says “Sing to the Lord; Praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.

Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does. Great is the Lord, he is most worthy of praise”.

This section of our notice sheet is where we can share stories of God’s goodness, and the amazing things he does in our lives.

Sharing stories encourages us in our faith! We would love to write your story about what God is doing in your life, family, workplace, neighbourhood and community.

We would LOVE to fill this space each week with a testimony of God’s goodness.

Please email us a story, or write it down and give it to one of our amazing stewards!

New Member Welcome If you’ve joined Frontline in the last 12-18 months, we’d love to officially welcome you into the Frontline Family!!

We’ll be doing this during the service on 1st October so put that in your diary and let us know that you’d like to take up this opportunity - email Michaela Edwards (michaela@frontline.org.uk) If you have joined more recently, or are thinking about joining, we would like to invite you to meet the leadership team on Wednesday 20th Sept, 7:30pm in the Frontline Coffee shop and ask any questions you might have about what it means to be a Frontline member. We will be providing food, so please let Michaela know if you’d like to attend.

Form Internship Opportunity We are so excited to be starting our second year of Form Northwest in September, Frontline’s internship program rooted in discipleship, leadership and mission.

Applications are coming in aplenty so if you are 18-30’s and are up for giving a year of your life to the Lord, can I encourage and challenge you to consider coming on this journey with us? Email joshl@frontline.org.uk for more information.

Morning Devotions One of our values as a church is ‘Authentic Devotion’. Each morning at Frontline, Wavertree we read the bible, pray and take communion together. We want to invite you as our Frontline family to come and join us at 9:15 for about 30 minutes; Monday to Friday. If you can’t join us, we will be posting the daily bible passages on our Facebook page and website so you can follow along.

Kids Zone We have our children’s groups; Explorers, Sparklers, Transformers and All Stars back to normal today after the summer holidays.

We hope this is a blessed and exciting time for our children, especially those who have moved to a new group. Please make sure your child is registered before going to their groups. If you have any questions, please see Kate Eaglestone or email her at katee@frontline.org.uk

Imagine If - Sticky Fingers Our parent and toddler playgroup Sticky Fingers will return on Wednesday 6th September - we would love for you to come if you have children under 5. Sticky Fingers is at Frontline Wavertree, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings beginning at 10am (we also have a 1pm session on Thursday). You don’t have to prebook, just turn up for lots of play, craft, snacks and singing.

NB - there is a charge of £3.50 per family but only £1.50 if your child is under 12 months old.

Frontline Encounter Many of us are longing for a deeper encounter with God and that’s why we’re hosting ENCOUNTER meetings once a month. As well as extended times of worship, ENCOUNTER will be an opportunity to hear from the Holy Spirit and partner with HIM in prayer. ENCOUNTER starts at 7:30pm and will end at 9pm where we will be having soup and rolls together to break the Bridegroom Fast. Whether you are fasting or not - make the most of this opportunity to have an encounter with God. Tuesday 5th September @ Frontline Wavertree

Student Lunches As the new academic year kicks off, we would love to welcome all the students to Frontline with a student lunch after the 10:30am service in the cafe. This will be a great opportunity to meet new students and help them feel at home at Frontline, and in Liverpool.

We still need volunteers to contribute a dish or dessert for the dates coming up in September and October. If you contribute, please feel free to join us for lunch to hang out, meet the students and save yourself from cooking lunch twice!!. Finally, a big thank you to those who have already committed to bring something!

Each week has a food theme but feel free to be creative: 17th Sept - Italian 24th Sept - Stews, soups and sandwiches 1st Oct - TBC 8th Oct - Mexican Please see Danny Wong after the service or email him at danielw@frontline.org.uk

Kids and Youth

Communities

We love families here at Frontline and they are always welcome. We have regular kids / youth work during our services (though not every week).

We love being in community together! Which is why we have missional communities.

Those weeks we do have kids work there will be a registration point where you can sign your child up. Ask one of our stewards to point you in the right direction.
