BRING YOUR TROOP TO FROST VALLEY YMCA
When a child becomes a scout, they make a commitment to themselves, their community, their world, and their fellow scouts. Here at Frost Valley YMCA, we want to help your troop pave the way for a multi-faceted journey infused with leadership, personal growth, and the formation of strong, lifelong bonds. Our eight core values—Caring, Community, Diversity, Honesty, Inclusiveness, Respect, Responsibility, and Stewardship—are the foundation of the comprehensive programming we offer scout troops.
Our Main Camp easily accommodates large councils while still providing a personalized experience for individual troops. We take care of the meals (Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast) and programming so you can focus on the scouts.
East Valley Ranch, just 14 miles from Main Camp, offers both a bed-and-breakfast style lodge that sleeps up to 35 guests, as well as Mongolian yurts that sleep an additional 60 guests. This secluded location allows for programs to be tailored specifically for your troop’s needs and goals. East Valley Ranch offers a more private and personalized experience. All meals are included and served in our lodge’s charming dining room.

Frost Valley YMCA offers enriching Scouting Programs for children during the fall, winter, and spring. We provide experiences for young people that build character by teaching responsibility for our environment and respect for our fellow citizens. Join us for a weekend away designed to challenge them to go beyond their limits and to reach new heights as a troop. With the encouragement of their peers, leaders and our experienced staff, they will succeed. Each weekend we provide access to our camp favorites – climbing, archery, arts & crafts, and seasonal favorites such as apple cider making, canoeing, cross-country skiing, and snow tubing (weather permitting). With several weekends dedicated to helping scouts build skills in many different arenas – from horseback riding to arts & crafts, to nature and conservation – Frost Valley YMCA builds young leaders.
