Eleonora Arosio Eleonora Arosio is a freelance illustrator based in Italy, but hopes to have many bases around the world. Born in 1992, she began showing her arty side in kindergarten, when she drew uncountable weirdly shaped Spice Girls. After many years, she graduated from NABA Academy in Milan, and it was then that she started drawing her own spice girls.

Ben Young Raised in Waihi Beach, New Zealand, and now living in Sydney, Australia, Ben Young is a self-taught artist who has been making glass sculpture for over 10 years and has exhibited alongside well-known glass artists in both New Zealand and Australia.

Having spent most of his life living in the beautiful Bay of Plenty (North Island, NZ) it seemed natural for him to explore the local landscape and surroundings for early inspiration in his art. A keen surfer and a boatbuilder by profession, he is largely influenced by the ocean and brings these passions together in his evocative glass forms. Each of Young’s sculptural works are hand drawn, hand cut and handcrafted from clear sheet float glass made for windows, then laminated layer upon layer to create the final form. He constructs models, draws templates, makes custom jigs and then cuts the layers with a glazier’s hand-tool. The complexity comes from the planning phase, where he says ‘I do a lot of thinking before I even start to draw or cut’. He then sketches the concept by hand and creates a plan using traditional technical drawing techniques: ‘I work with 2D shapes and have to figure out how to translate that into a 3D finished piece. Sometimes my starting point changes dramatically as I have to find a way to layer the glass to create certain shapes.’ The texture and colour of the glass varies in every piece according to its thickness and arrangement. ‘The way I use the glass enables me to portray so many different elements of my conceptual ideas’, he says. I hope viewers might imagine the work as something “living” that creates the illusion of space, movement, depth and sense of spatial being. I like to play with the irony between the glass being a solid material and how I can form such natural and organic shapes.’
Since moving to Sydney, Australia, Young is currently working on new work inspired by the juxtaposition of the organic coastal and ocean formations of the NSW coast against the contrast of man-made geometric cityscapes. This has seen the development of more industrial materials being incorporated into his work such as steel, metals and most recently concrete forms.
He has recently been making waves within the Australian glass scene having just been selected for the prestigious Ranamok Glass Prize alongside some of Australia’s most well known glass artists as well as a huge international response to his work ‘The Beacon’ which has featured on the pages of The Huffington Post, NY and This is Collosal to name a few.

Wooly Polygon
Wooly Polygon aka Sophie Refshauge is an illustrator and crochet aficionado. She graduated from the Animation Workshop in Denmark with a bachelor in Computer Graphics in January 2015, and has been working as a freelancer since, both on editorial- and TV productions. During her internship with Berlin based motion graphic studio SEHSUCHT she primarily worked with pitch, style and character development. The Brazilian artist, Gusta Vicentini (aka Gustando), expresses through paint on wood, paper, wall and digital art. His main motivation is the “desire to tell stories� based on elements of nature, childhood, dreams and fantasies.

VICE TOMASOVIĆ Born in 1986 in Split, Croatia. Graduated from the Art Academy at the University of Split, Department of Fine Arts, in 2009. He is the founder and director of Almissa Open Air festival of contemporary art in Omiš, Croatia. President of the Croatian Association of Visual Artists in Split since 2015. He works in fields of painting, sculpture, performance and installation art. Using a visual vocabulary to confuse the viewers, offering them a solution without prompting, Tomasović creates new phantasmagorical worlds, which he claims are true representations of the earth’s history and future, but in fact they are forms of subconscious excited random shapes that become characters in interaction with the environment and it seems like they illustrate an obscure fable with mystical doctrine. The viewer is forced to create a links between connotations, conflicts and feelings that his symbols evoke in our mind creating a complete new mythology in that way. Tomasović works are visions of the strange situations that undoubtedly speak of an elusive secret truth in which romanticism, surrealism, symbolism and bizarre version of Croatian naïve art interweave. Rejecting the popular narrative forms he creates works through the process that starts in subconscious realm, and ends up with subsequent conceptualization of the work itself that confronts us with our own perception and fear of knowledge. Vice Tomasović currently lives in Omiš, Croatia.

I am a Spanish illustrator living on the beautiful island of Minorca. I always had a special place for art and illustration in my life, but it was not until I started my studies in Illustration that I realised I wanted to do it as a full time job. My main source of inspiration surrounds me: nature, everyday objects, people and circumstances and I try to focus on depicting them in the simplest way.
