Jasmine Turner said it best! “ While we were being told to go to college, get a corporate job, dress like, walk like, talk like . . . ( let’s say “ Mainstream” the Vietnamese were opeing nails salons. The Koreans opened beauty supply stores. The Chinese opened restaurants. The Arabs opened gas stations. The Jewish opened record labels. . made money strickly off black folks and they dressed like, walked like, talked like . . . THEMSELVES. We have to realize in our communites that there truly first is a national agenda to keep certain communites in fear, lack and dis order. That way most will become powerless, dependent and at odds with each other while those who set the agenda gain off of every ill or success of the targeted communities. We say “ Let’s change the Narrative!” This year we will be publishing more informational resources for the communites to improve, empower and focus as we come to a new election year we should be more prepared to make real change. 8/F-STYLE CHICAGO /

LOVE Understanding Let’s chnage this narrative

19/F-STYLE CHICAGO

We hear it in most of our songs, our great stories and movies are written for it, but are we actually taking time out to really learn about love all our lives. Are we studying what love is, the stages of love and how to maintain it once we get it? For as much as we are consummed with this topic, I really have not seen to many really seek to learn about it, understand it and live it until the heart breaks. Lets chnage this narrative.

When relationships aren’t going well, we want to repair them quickly. But we can’t fix in a day something that we’ve created over months or years of withdrawals. We can’t talk ourselves out of problems that we behaved ourselves into. In addition, relationships are so important to us that we’re almost always interested in their status. It’s easy to get anxious to know how things stand. But if we try to find out too soon, we risk making a withdrawal. Testing a relationship too soon is like pulling up a young plant to see if it has taken root. As we mentioned above, deposits should be made for their own sake, as an expression of love, not measured for their effect. The effect will come, but only if we have patience to allow it to take its natural course. When we live the primary laws of love, we encourage people to live the primary laws of life Primary LAWS These are fundamental and timeless principles that express the orderly and lawful nature of life. In the wake of all the crazy blatent disrepect of the African American community during black history month, F-Style Magazine will weigh in on the disscusion just a bit. The NEW BLACK AGENDA is needed now, more than ever. The political sham is a blatant indication that now more than ever a paradigm shift needs to be. African American households but also need a reset and rebuild, the communities need focus of both short and long term ideology of the commnity change and growth. Our discussions should not only be about the fear, the stress and the frivialist conversations of our enertainers beefing with one another, or the latest material liablities we consum with leadership who choose to disrespect our community dollars with racist marketing champaigns. Our focus should be to work on the dependency of our communities begging for help from our political and govemenment leaders to simply provide our communities for clean air, healthy food and jobs that will not discriminate. Remember we still have no answer to Flint Michigan nor all the countless murders from trained officers who kill untrained african americans because they were scared for their lives, let that sink in To address this it would be advised to redirect our families agendas on going and prepare our youth and community with continued guidence and focus.

Things to remember Sometimes people hold a core belief that is very strong. When they are presented with evidence that works against that belief, that new evidence cannot be accepted because it creaes a feeling that is extremely uncomfortable because it is so important to protect the core belief, they will rationalize, ignore and deny anything that doesn’t fit with that core belief. That is why people get upset when their strongly held beliefs are challenged.

As you are doing this and things you invest in grow, you will soon beabele to see other options in lifestyle and maybe one day, you might even have the option to quite your job and become a business owner. But first things first. Let’s first start off by exploring this short list of passive income streams to develop more revenue for your household. 1.
