Cooper Hibbs led the Falcons with 155 yards on 19-of-42 passing in the HBNF 5IF 4IFQIFSE EFGFOTF IFME UIF 'BMDPOT UP KVTU ZBSET QFS DBSSZ Dawrence Roberts led all FSU rushing backs with 20 carries for 51 yards. Jabre Lolley carries the ball 17 times for 70 yards and a score. Allen Cross also ran the ball 17 times for 53 yards and a touchdown for the Shepherd.

Garrett Davis added nine tackles (eight solo) for the Falcons. Bryan Wilson also made an impact with eight tackles and a sack. Jacob Jean-Charles picked off a SU pass and returned it 38 yards. The third quarter was a defensive struggle until Hibbs was picked by Barber to set the Rams up at the FSU 32. Cross capped an eight-play, 32-yard drive by muscling his way in from a yard out. Daniel Monroe led the FSU ground game with eight carries for 91 yards and a score, Monroe had a 67-yard touchdown run in the third quarter and also hauled in a touchdown reception in the game. Fabian Guerra set a Fairmont State single-game record with 247 receiving yards on 13 catches. Guerra also found the endzone on a 55-yard reception.
