IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Hello membership. Hopefully everyone made it home safely from a great weekend racing with CFTR. The club did an incredible job navigating all the hurdles that Mother Nature threw at them and the membership really stepped up to show their support with the rescheduled date. They had well over 1,000 entries which is huge! A couple issues that need immediate attention from this weekend.

-PIt Riding. It was unacceptable throughout the weekend. I personally stopped and issued warnings to multiple people as did every other official I spoke with. We are two rounds in and the warning are going to turn into non-negotiable DQs. If we as an organization cannot manage the pit riding then we are jeopardizing our access to the beautiful properties that we are fortunate to have use of. If you are not aware our access to these properties is becoming scarce and this puts the organization’s ability to host these events at risk.

-PeeWee Program.

I saw several peewee parents pushing their riders off the line Saturday. This is not only against the rules but it creates a major safety issue. Pushing a rider, especially a peewee rider, can easily cause the rider to slide back on the seat which not only puts them in a position of little to no control but also causes them to pull back on the throttle which further compounds the problem. Do not push your rider off the line!! Peewee beginner parents. There were several liquid cooled bikes that raced the peewee beginner class this weekend. The peewee beginner class is limited to air cooled/non ICE motorcycles only. No liquid cooled motorcycles. If your child is on a liquid cooled machine they need to be moved into C class immediately. Looking forward to seeing everyone back in Bartow for SADRA’s event the 10th & 11th of December.
