Wandering Wainwright F
ort Wainwright has just what you need to create your very own adventure story. A beautiful blanket of snow and a sense of adventure will have you grabbing your snow gear and running off to adventure, right here, in your backyard! Chena Bend Courses During the winter, Chena Bend Golf Course and Clubhouse has multiple trails for you to trek! This year, the Chena Bend staff has added an additional trail to their course. There are three beautiful trails— a general use or beginners trail, a snowshoeing trail, and a cross country skiing trail. All of the trails are groomed throughout the season making them user friendly and safe to use. A map of the trails can be found at wainwright.armymwr.com. After your trek, warm up inside the Clubhouse next to the fireplace and grab a savory bite to eat at The Turn Grille or play a game on the golf simulators. If you are in need of snowshoeing or cross country ski equipment, Chena Bend Clubhouse has gear available for check-out. For more information on equipment check-out or trail information, contact Chena Bend Clubhouse at (907) 353-6223.
