Introduction Sto ny B ro o k U n i ver s i ty P rog ram Sp r in g 2 01 5
The Spring 2015 Stony Brook program brought to Florence a group of diverse students, each with their own unique perspective on life abroad. Although every student came to Florence with their own distinct expectations on their experience, each was able to find their own particular niche in Florence. This project reflects their individual and collective experiences, as well as their physical connection to their temporary home in Florence. Their semester abroad, full of challenges, adventures, and once in a lifetime memories, has enriched their cachet of knowledge and opened up a new cultural perspective for these students, and I thankful to have shared this experience with them. Thank you for your contributions to the Spring 2015 project and I wish you all a bright and prosperous future!

This is not a popular or well-known place in Florence, so there aren’t many tourists in here; this is just a quiet garden that you can enjoy your beautiful afternoon and rest a bit. Once you enter the garden you start hearing birds chirping. Different trees and flowers that were rarely seen in Florence can be found in here.
