INTRODUCTION
The majority of diesel engine failures can be directly attributed to poor fuel quality. Contaminated diesel can cause blocked fuel filters, premature fuel pump failures, damage to injectors ... resulting in lost time, and lost revenue. Generators, trucks, locomotives, ships and heavy equipment have all suffered, at one time or another, from contaminated fuel related issues.
CLEANING SERVICES
Fuelco can facilitate the onsite cleaning of contaminated fuel, including water and algae removal, from your bulk storage tank. We provide specialist services in the refurbishment and reclamation of contaminated diesel fuel, even in difficult to access bulk storage tanks.
FILTRATION
Fuelco provides filtration systems tailored to your application or industry. Industries where dust, dirt and moisture are prevalent, can benefit from an integrated filtration system, which is either part of the dispensing kit or a stand-alone system. Our team can recommend a filtration system specific to your needs that will increase the longevity and efficiency of vehicles and equipment.
AUTOMATED SYSTEMS
Fully automated, dedicated systems are available for large fuel storage tanks, and critical fuel locations, such as hospitals, data systems and power plants. We can supply systems that stabilise fuel and keep tanks clean, preventing costly periodic tank cleaning or the need to replace out-of-spec diesel or biofuel. These are especially useful where fuel sits for extended periods of time as part of a back-up generator system.

INSPECTION & TESTING
If you’re unsure if you have a problem, or excess water in your tank, Fuelco can organise an inspection and fuel testing. Options include onsite tank and fuel testing, do-it-yourself kits or water finding paste to detect water within your fuel. MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS
Fuelco can create tailored programs to ensure that fuel facilities are regulation compliant and running efficiently with regular servicing and support. Our maintenance programs are customised to suit your industry and the volume of fuel stored and used. Maintenance programs are available for maintenance of fuel, storage tanks and dispensing equipment. Regular inspection of tank gaskets and ventilation is recommended to ensure tanks are sealed and operating correctly. This is especially relevant to underground tanks where water can access during periods of heavy rain through deteriorated gaskets and pipe fittings.
