ETA’s

English Lesson Guide

Fulbright Thailand

About the book The book aims to provide guidelines for our English Teaching Assistants (ETAs) who teach English conversation in Thai primary and high schools. It was based on the Ministry of Education’s core curriculum and several other sources including teacher’s handbooks and textbooks by authorized publishers.

Disclaimer This book provides only a guidelines of what should be expected from each grade. It must be adjusted to fit with real situation in which student ability and school condition vary from place to place.

Notes • Number of lesson themes for different grade vary. It depends on each ETA to manage their classroom schedule. • In addition to language structure recommended for the theme, we also summarized essential grammar for each grade so that ETA can mix and match their lesson within guided framework. • We strongly recommend that ETA review lessons from the previous theme/grade before moving on to ensure students are on track.
