Recognizing Excellence
North Orange County Chamber has championed business excellence and has recognized outstanding accomplishments of businesses since 1989. This year the Chamber honored five distinguished leaders for their accomplishments, community engagement and employee friendly environments. The event also provided framework for installing the board of directors comprised of individuals who will lead the organization in “Seeking New Heights” under the leadership of Chair, Marty Burbank.

Angelo’s & Vinci’s Ristorante
Cynthia Peck of Angelo’s & Vinci’s Ristorante has developed a reputation for great food but as a restaurant, the company reaches far beyond its doors. For years, they have been aiding organizations that make a difference including Pathways of Hope and Crittenton Services for Children and Families. The restaurant was also recognized with an Award of Merit for Longevity in 2016-17 presented by the Southern California Restaurant Writers.
Nutrilite by Amway
The Amway/Nutrilite facility, located in Buena Park, ranked number two among best place to work for 2016 according to the OC Register. The company creates a culture that promotes a healthy balance for employees and fosters personal and professional growth among their employees. The team has volunteered countless hours at many local nonprofits in Buena Park including the Boys & Girls Club, Giving Children Hope and Orangewood.
PlastiColor
PlastiColor has been supplying the Automotive Aftermarket with high quality automotive accessories for over 40 years. The family owned business has grown since its founding, but continues to design and manufacture products on-site at their headquarters in Fullerton. The company owners and employees have long supported the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fullerton, Crittenton Services for Children and Families and the Mayor’s Prayer breakfast.
Rowntree Gardens
Rowntree Gardens offers its residents a close-knit family environment where friendships are formed and lives are cherished. The retirement community is committed to not just caring for their residents but also engaging with the community. Their commitment of $50,000 for each of the next 20 years helps assure Stanton Central Park will be a place of fun and excitement for all ages.
W Power
W Power, a California certified woman and minority owned business, develops, builds and owns facilities designed to provide clean reliable energy to communities in which they operate. Known for the public-private partnerships, the company has established scholarships for local students pursuing STEM fields. Their partnership with the City of Stanton helped create and will maintain Stanton Central Park for years to come.
