Opus 133 - Dalirium Peltro

History of a Piece

The opus 133 - Dalirium Peltro is a homage that Berrocal dedicated to his longtime friend Salvador Dalí. It is the model, both in size and in time, that has been used to develop the monumental sculpture, opus 164 - Dalirium Tremens. Salvador Dalí and Berrocal

The curvilinear shapes represent an abstract reclining figure - you can actually recognize the two crossed legs - whose inspiration and intention is to evoke Dalí’s surrealist paintings.
