OPTIMIZING LONGEVITY

•Battery Change for Quartz watches

-Quartz movements are powered by a battery. Non-lithium batteries will stay charged for 12 to 18 months before a sudden loss of energy causes the watch to stop. Some watches are fitted with a battery end-of-life (E.O.L.) indicator: when the battery is about to run down, the second’s hand starts to jump every four seconds. When this happens, replace the battery immediately. A dead battery Inside the watch might damage the movement.

- Never change the battery yourself as you may damage the seals that ensure water resistance

•Maintaining Accuracy in Automatic Movements

- An automatic watch only maintains its power reserve when worn on a wrist in motion

- Always try to keep the spring fully wound.

CLEANING YOUR FURLA TIMEPIECE

•If the case and crystal look very dirty, use a soft tissue dipped in soapy water.

•Use soapy water and a soft brush for cleaning metal, PVD and ceramic bracelets, rubber, acetate and water-resistant cases.

•Rinse with clean water to eliminate washing residue. Never use cleaning agents. Wipe down with a soft cloth.

•Always rinse your watch in lukewarm water after use in a saline or chlorinated environment (salt water, swimming pool)

DON’T

•Do not clean a leather strap with anything other than clean water.

•Never use chemical products like petroleum spirits to clean your FURLA watch.

WATCH WARRANTY

•The watch is covered by an International Guarantee for a period of 12 (twelve) months from the date of purchase, or of 24 (twenty-four) months from the date of purchase in EU countries, except as otherwise provided by law in the original purchase country.

•Timex Nederland B.V. and its worldwide affiliates will honor this International Warranty.

•The warranty is valid on condition that the watch was purchased at an authorized Furla dealer and that the warranty certificate has been duly completed in full, signed and stamped by the dealer.

•Warranty service is only honored on watches purchased directly from authorized retailers. Second-hand or private sales will not be honored. In warranty repairs are at no charge.

•(Repair requests received without proof of purchase will be processed as out-of-warranty repair and will incur the out-of-warranty charges.)
