INTRODUCTION OF THE SUBJECT: COVID 2019/20/21
INTRODUCTION:
Coronavirus disease (COVIOD-19) is an infectious disease caused by a new strain of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). The first cause was reported in Wuhan City. Hubel Province of Chania on 31 December 2019 by the World Health Organization, which has rapidly become a global pandemic and is continuing to spread across the globe. For example, in less than 4 months i.e. on 22nd of April, more than 2.4 million people worlds wide have tasted positive for COVID-19, with over 163,000 growth, with over 70,000 new cases per day.
Since treatments and vaccines for COVID-19 are still being actively researched, different procedures have been used to limit the widespread infections of the virus while a proper cure is being developed. Therefore, every country around the globe is taking measures to continue to protect its people: to date the most safe and effective way to minimize and prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to adopt social distancing, quarantine, stay-athome policies for non-essential businesses, frequent hand washing use of hand sanitizer and vaccine etc. Indeed, all of these quality recommendations are only possible because of the science that came before.
In the fight against this ongoing global pandemic, scientists are actively working together, using their knowledge and available resources, to provide a synthesis of efforts and roles played by scientists who are usually working in areas not related to infectious diseases, especially Astrologers, in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on individual & Global development. Many Astrologers worldwide predicted the cause of the/planetary position/combination for cause of the Pandemic, its origin & its probable end.
WHAT IS VEDIC ASTROLOGY? AND WHAT IS ITS IMPLICATION ON MEDICAL SCIENCE?
Vedic Astrology is the phrase used in English to refer to what is called Jyotish in Sanskrit. Jyoti is light and Joytish is the study of light-the lights in the sky and the light within one’s soul? Rooted in the Vedas, India’s ancient system of knowledge, Vedic astrology is based the belief that the stars and planets have a powerful influence on our lives.
Astrology is Vendange, that is, one of the limbs of the Vedas. Vedas were studied by the ancient sages and rishis, out of whom Saptarishies were the most famous. Bhrigu was one of the Saptarishis. He is known to be the father of Vedic Astrology. The research of Bhruigusamhita was done over 5 million horoscopes., in which he wrote down the fate of every being in the Universe.
Vedic Astrology, is an ancient spiritual science rooted in astronomy, gives us insight into the past and future through the positioning of the celestial bodies, nine planets and the twenty-seven Nakshatras (lunar constellations) in our solar system.
The famous astronomer, Carl Sagan said: “Science is not only compatible with spirituality, it is a profound source of spirituality”.
According to Hindu teachings, life is meant for spiritual growth. This growth is, in part, facilitated by Karma, the concept that every thought and action has a corresponding reaction. The Vedas say that a person’s karma is directly related to the position of the planets and stars, and thus astrology is the method of understanding one’s karma by analyzing these positions.
Dubbed also as the “science of fate” astrology is used to understand all aspects of life, including thefuturesuccess of aparticularendeavor,like marriage, moving into anew home, or a business venture. In the past, it was even used as a way of predicting of battles, in war, or a particular govt decision. As a result, rulers would often employ astrologers to provide them better insight as to how they could best run the kingdom.
MEDICAL ASTROLOGY AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE
Astrology as applied to medicine has very ancient roots, for example in India, China and Egypt, but it reached its fullest flowering in Europe in the late medieval and early modern period, c1450-1700. The influence of astrology also entered European medicinefromtheArab countries.Basically,it is no exaggeration to saythat astrology dominated everything during that period and thus many systems of knowledge depended upon it, were symbiotic with it, or referred to it in their worldview. In the body, planets to rule over diseases and drugs. Thus, the whole system is one of observation and interpretation based upon a complex system of given Rulership. This is clearly shown by Dygges in his 1555 manuscript.
BRIEFLY, THE ORGANS OF THE BODY ARE RULED AS FOLLOWS:
Brain and Nerves by Mercury (and Uranus), Respiratory by Mercury, Heart by Sun, Arteries by Mars, Veins by Saturn, Kidneys by Venus, Liver by Jupiter, Digestive system by Venus, Muscles by Mars, Reproduction by Venus and Mars, Endocrine system by Neptune and Uranus, Tastes by Pluto, Ovaries by Moon, Skin by Saturn, Teeth, nail and hair by Mars, Bones and Skeleton by Saturn.
The character of diseases given to the planets include heart and spine disorders by the Sun, cuts, injuries and bruises as well as fevers and inflammations with redness and heat by Mars, liver disorders by Jupiter; diseases of expansion and excess by Sun or Jupiter; menstrual and mammary complaints and dropsies( fluid retention) by Moon: urinary complaints by Venus; diseases of decline, collapse, wasting, blockage and
contraction by Saturn; poisoning by Saturn; tumors, neuroses, insanity by Mercury, digestive disorder by Venus.
In Medical Astrology taking the sign first, they are connected in this way with the body.
Aries: Head and face, the eyes.
Taurus: The neck, ears, throat, larynx, tonsils.
Gemini: The arms, Shoulders, muscles and bones in these, the lungs (including the trachea and bronchi), and the hands.
Cancer: Stomach, breasts, solar plexus, diaphragm, upper part of the liver.
Leo: The heart, spine and spinal parts.
Virgo: The intestines, alimentary canal, lower part of the liver.
Libra: Kidneys, loins, appendix, lumbar vertebrate and the skin generally.
Scorpio: The organs of reproduction, bladder, gall, colon and rectum.
Sagittarius: The hips, thighs and the sciatic nerves.
Capricorn: The knees, joints of the body, and the hair.
Aquarius: The lower leg, (claves and ankles) the teeth and the circulation of the blood.
Pisces: The feet and toes.
The planets govern parts corresponding with the signs they rule and in which they have their exaltation. The physiological side, in relation to the signs, in more details are as follows:-
Aries: Headaches, fevers neuralgia, eye troubles, eruptions and inflammations, wounds and accidents.
Taurus: Diseases which particularly attack the throat.
Gemini(n): Bronchial complaints, consumption, nerve diseases, pneumonia and pleurisy, asthma and anemia.
Cancer: Affections of the digestion.
Leo: Heart trouble, poor circulation and similar troubles.
Virgo: Digestive troubles and complaints to do with intestines generally.
Libra: Kidney affections and afflictions to the spine.
Scorpio: Diseases of the parts already mentioned as belonging to the Sign.
Sagittarius: Gout, rheumatism, sciatica, accidents.
Capricorn: Skin complaints and diseases affecting the parts of the Sigh.
Aquarius: Accidents to the ankles and complaints affecting that part of the body; varicose veins, blood poisoning and some nervous diseases.
Pisces: Influenza, colds, diseases accompanied by mucous discharges and similar complaints.
Characteristics of diseases in details based on the above signs are as follows:
Aries: The energies are often in excess of the nervous and mental balance, and most ill-health has its origins in such things as violent exertion and outbursts of anger. The Arises person should seek poise at all costs.
Taurus: Over -indulgence and too much comfort lies at the roots of most disorder, but there is also a tendency to brood over troubles which lends force to any passing ailments.
Gemini: Nervous reactions and restlessness from the basis.
Cancer: Usually complaints originate in the emotions through some mental irritant, cause nervous reactions and general lessening of vitality. It has been said that nine times out of ten the Cancerian is hurt in health more by others than by himself.

A Lunar Eclipseoccurred on16th July2019 when the Earth aligned between the Moon & Sun in a straight line, blocking vital sunrays. The moon’s gravitational pull causes shift in nature-from tidal waves to tectonic plate movements. The Earth is kept in balance due to the Sun’s effect on the Moon. When there is an eclipse, this balance is disturbed, and as a result, natural calamities occur.
Astrologically, this phenomenon occurs for4 days and 12 hours when the Sun & the Moon are caught between the axis of the Dragon’s head & tail (astronomical bodies). The COVID-19 virus was first reported to the World Health Organization on 31st December, four and a half days later. According to a study published in the journal, NatureMedicine,thevirusislikelytohavebeentransmittedthroughBats&Pangolins with an intermediary host like Civets or Ferrets before finally transmitting to humans. The solar eclipse set the stage this time around for Nature to begin its war on Humans.
Only around 14th February 2020, forty-five days after the eclipse, the world began to panic when the infection spread globally affecting thousands of lives. Note the eclipse path extending over regions of East Africa, Middle East, South & South-east Asia, including China, Japan, Korea, Russia, Australia, Europe and USA.
Astrologically, we observed that the COVID-19 VIRUS was first conceived on the 4th of November 2019. The Lagna or Ascendant lord, Mercury, was weak in the 6th house signifying diseases, and conjunct the planet with Venus, ruler of the twelfth house that signifies hospital & hidden enemies (viruses).
Sun, the natural life -giver was weak in the sign of Libra. Mercury, the planet that deals with health was also retrograde in the outset of diseases
-First day of conception-COVID-19 VIRUS:
Gandanta Jupiter was at 29 degree of Scorpio, where lies the poison of the Scorpio (Note-Gandanta is a spiritual or karmic knot).On 5th November2019, malefic Jupiter conjoined Saturn and Dragon’s tail/Ketu (denoting viruses in the house of pandemics ). It is interesting to know that the virus could have been born under the star of Ardra or Punarvasu sometime around November 14/15th in Wuhan
Second day of conception-COVID 19 virus:
Planets & virus in 2020 Fast Forwarding to 2020, days before Makar Sankranti (a festival in the Hindu Vedic Calendar dedicated to solar deity (the Sun), Jupiter closely conjoined the Dragon’s tail between 8th to10th of January. Its goal of spreading the virus was expanded by Jupiter. This entity brings humiliation first before humanity, only then there is spiritual awakening. Origins of the virus tracking back to exotic animals can be linked to this astronomical body which signifies animals with thin tails like Bats and Pangolins.
Jupitersignifies knowledge, education, wealth and prosperity. Saturn,the chief justice of the universe, is the planet that releases karmic forces so individuals can walk the Dharmic or right path. The fruits of one ‘s deeds in past and present lives are judged by this planet.

Since 16th April Jupiter is travelling though the Aquarius is 8th house from moon & Saturn in own sign in Capricorn in 7th fromMoon. This has increased the pandemic & its speed & Sun being in 12th causing the hospitalization being the 4th lord. And its severity. Ketu in 16:04 degree is in a high position to create the pandemic. Once Ketu comes to 15 degree or less by 27th July the speed & the pandemic will be under control. 18TH MARH 2022, KETU WILL 10 degree, indicating almost holt of the virus. It will come to a complete holt when Ketu travels to Libra from Scorpio by 29th April’2022, this includes the movement of Jupiter and Saturn to the consecutive house as well.
Planet i.e Venus Saturn Sun Moon Jupiter and Mercury were conjoint on 11th February, 2021 in Capricon Rashi. This is happening after 59 years according to vedic astrology, theb cluster of planet is considered unfavourable propelling miwsfortunes. This led to more negative scenario. It was on new moon in an Amavasya. Global health was in threat once again.
According to prediction by Astrogle.com, moon sign like Sagitarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Aris, Gemini, cancer, Virgo and Libra were supposed to face tough time due to this conjuction. Those associated with astrology keep a transit calendar with them that sheds light on the planets transit in a particular year as each planet transits at its own pace, which varies from others. So, its transit times also different from others.
A planet can also become retrograde and combust, which are represented in the transit calendar. All the seven planets Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn alongwithtwonodesRahu&Ketuhavedifferentpositionsandtransitstimeontwelve zodiac signs. WHEN DOES PLANETARY TRANSIT HAPPEN?
Planetary transit is a continuous process. The original Natal Chart of a person shows the sign wise position of the transiting planets at the time of birth. So, the birth chart or the horoscope of a person sets up a broad road map of that person ‘s life as each house of a birth chart relates to a specific area or aspect of life. All astrological indication in a Natal chart are probabilities, some strong and some weak. < Planetary transits are generally seen as per the Moon sign. For more in-depth analysis these can also be seen as per the ascendant (Lagna)
< Transit of slow-moving planets viz Saturn transits, Jupiter transits Rahu Transits, and Ketu transits carry more importance.
< The transit of Rahu/Ketu axis can indicate the areas of concern during their transit. For example, this axis falling over 1st and 7th houses will require attention to general health, dealings, marriage and spouse, partnership business, etc. But the transit of same Rahu /Ketu axis on 6th& 12 th house of a chart may get diseases & great loss.

ANALYSIS OF 40 CASES ARE MADE AND STYDIED MINUTELY AND THEIR FINDINGS.
The common factors noted from the cases STUDIED are specified in TABLE-2 .

Based on the above points Table one has been tabulated to find out the strength of the above points and inferring them as the substantial points as a cause for covid attack , to be used for precautionary measure by checking the transit and Lagna chart of the Native before they travel or get to a social gathering.
Table -3 is explaining the percentage measure out of 40 cases to prioritized the importance of the above points in Study , as a cause for covid attac .
FINAL FINDINGS
Ascendant passing through wrong houses like 6,8,12 the houses was found in 25% of the case. Hence considered to be a measure point.
Rahu/Ketu position in wrong axis in Transit and Lagna chart, i.e (4,10), (6,12), (1,7), (2,8) was found in 77.5% cases. Hence Ketu, the karak for viral attacks and Rahu being the cause of all kinds of diseases is one of the major reasons for covid attack.
Jupiter and Saturn passing through 6,7,8,12 house in less than8 degree and less than 11 degree. Here 87.5 % of the cases Jupiter and Saturn passing through wrong houses. Out of which 62.5% are less than 8 degree and the remain 32.5% are less than11 degree.
Mars passing through 1,4,9,11 houses were found in 85% of the cases.
Mercury and Sun passing through 6,8,12th house was found in 40% of the cases as there was as many hospitalization cases. Remaining were home remedy cases.
Moon was passing through wrong houses was found in 40 % of the case.
Dasha of Malefic planets i.e Rahu, Ketu, Jupiter and Saturn, Mercury and Mars was found in 100% of the cases.
Last but not the least there were 68% of case out of which who (got hospitalization), had Mercury combust and/or retrograde and was present in wrong houses.
CONCLUSION
Vedic astrology can help predict the probable covid attack beforehand. It can predict the duration of the attack as well, hospitalization if necessary, benefit can be derived from hospitalization or not. Vedic Astrology can also predict the possibility and date of cure of the disease.
A step-wise study needs to be undertaken.
First, in order to conclude a probable covid attack, the position of Rahu & Ketu in transit of moon in lagna chart needs to be studied.
We need to check if their position is in wrong axes like (4,10), (6,12), (1,7), (2,8).
If their chart indicates the above, then the person is likely to contract covid. Any plans to travel long distance by train, bus or air can be avoided. This astro check can determine the probability of covid attack and the native can advance or postpone his plan to travel. Likewise, the person can decide to accept or reject social engagements.
The second level of study will be when a person actually contracts covid. Here the position of Jupiter and Saturn in wrong houses like 6, 7, 8, 12 and the difference in degree in transit need to be looked at. Do take a seat and rid us off our troubles. “Then perform the Pooja by keep chanting the matras, Beeja mantra, Shani Gayatri and Shani Kavach etc. There after according to your capacity, donate black sesame, black clothes, horse beans (Urad), oil and gold. Lord Saturn is worshipped on this fast and so donate the items mentioned above as they are his favorite. In this night take Khichiri of black horse bean (Urad). Offer the same to others as well.
