Madame Adelaide Bonfamille is a former opera singer and owner of Duchess and her kittens.
She likes it when Berlioz plays the piano. Berlioz is the youngest kitten, he is a bit timid and shy.
Billy Boss the big Russian cat is a member of Scat Cat’s gang. He plays the cello bass guitar with Hit Cat who plays the guitar. Hit Cat is a cool English cat, he wears sun glasses and a blue pearl necklace.
Duchess the white cat, is Madame Adelaide’s cat and mother of three kittens. She falls in love with Thomas and is forced to choose her life at home or a life with Thomas. Duchess has soft and silky white fur, and bright blue eyes.
Edgar, Madame Adelaide’s butler, the vilain of the story captures Duchess and her three kittens. Edgar hates cats, he hates packing their bags, preparing dinner, ironing their ribbons... And every day he wonders how to make them leave the house.
Frou-Frou the horse has a funny pink hat, she frequently plays with the kittens. With Roquefort, the mouse, she plans to help the cats get rid of Edgar.
Georges Hautecourt the lawyer, has giant glasses. He is a crazy person who loves to waltz with Adela誰de Bonfamille. He has to write the will of Mrs Bonfamille, who wants to give her inheritance to the artistocats.
This is Adelaide Bonfamille’s house, where Duchess and her kittens live. It’s a big house, located in a lovely neighborhood of Paris.
Peppo the Italian cat is a member of Scat Cat’s gang. He plays the accordion in the attic. He wears the colors of the Italian flag: a white polka-dotted red scarf and a green hat.
At the end of the journey the aristocats and Scat Cat’s gang play jazz in an attic. Scat Cat plays the trumpet Billy Boss plays the cello bass guitar Shun Gon plays the piano, Hit Cat wears a blue jewel and dances with the Aristocat family.
Duchess has three kittens, she raises them with care: they will become perfect kittens. They know how to walk proudly, their tail up, as well-behaved cats. The kittens are artists: Berlioz knows how to play the piano, Marie is a singer, Toulouse is a painter.
Lafayette the basset hound is a farm dog and Napoleon’s companion. He has long ears. He sometimes proves to be smarter than Napoleon, despite Napoleon staunchly insisting that he is the leader of the farm dogs. He is lazy: he is always sleeping.
Marie is the middle kitten, she is very bossy at times. Marie is a white cat, she looks like her mumuy, with a pink ribbon. She likes milk and singing melody.
Napoleon is a Bloodhound. Lafayette is his friend. He has a necklace. Both live in a farm. He attacks Edgard when he comes in the farm. He is saving the life of Duchess and the kittens.
O’Maley the main protagonist. A friendly alley cat who finds Duchess and her kittens stranded in the woods and befriends them, becoming a father figure to the kittens and falling in love with Duchess. Thomas O’Maley comes off as a smooth-talking, streetwise cat who relishes his life of freedom out in open: no rules and no responsibilities.
The kittens like playing the piano. Berlioz who plays very well. Berlioz and Shon Gun play the piano together while singing ÂŤEvery body wants to be a catÂť.
Like all the brothers and sisters the cute kittens compete. They have frequently some quarrels, and disturb the quiet house.
Roquefort is a little mouse and a friend of the cats. He is very rash. He relishes milk and cake. He is a tiny mouse who wears a Sherlock holmes suit.
Scat cat, Thoma’s best friend and leader of a music group. He is an alley cat and he plays the trumpet. Shun Gon is a Chinese cat who plays the piano and the drums with sticks.
Toulouse has hazel eyes, and long orange fur with lighter orange stomach. He wears a large blue ribbon around his neck.Toulouse looks like Thomas O’Maley. He aspires to be a painter and practises his painting daily.
Uncle Waldo, Amelia and Abigail’s drunk uncle. Waldo then begins getting very loud, so his nieces say goodbye to the cats, and begin leading him away from bed. Uncle Waldo likes to go to restaurants in Paris.
Edgar the vilain puts the cradle in the sidecar of his old motorbike. He is driving very far from Paris to leave the cradle with the cats, under the arch of an old bridge.
The cats are walking in the street, playing instruments and singing: «everybody wants to be a cat». The cats’ band is welcoming with Duchess and her kittens.
Toulouse, the grey kitten experiments painting: he is mixing colors. He is an excellent painter, his paintings are extremely colorful.
The aristocats like singing and dancing with the cats’band. The young kittens Toulouse and Berlioz are dancing on a yellow hat.
Duchess and her kittens are sleeping in a cradle : «ZZzzZzZzzzZ». Edgar has mixed sleeping pills in the cat’s milk because he wants to bring them out far far away.

In Paris, France, in 1910, a mother cat named Duchess and her three kittens: Marie, Berlioz and Toulouse, live in the home of a retired opera singer Madame Adela誰de Bonfamille with Edgar her English butler. He wants to bring the cats out into the country. They will meet lot of friends all along their adventures. Come and share their adventures and play with your crayons like Toulouse.
