Known Loved & Valued

Cardinals are

Our Mission & Vision Known. Loved. Valued. This is our deep hope for every student. From the moment students step on our campus for the first time until they walk across the stage at graduation and become alumni, we want them to recognize they are known, loved, and valued - not only for who they are, but more importantly, who God created them to be. At Fort Worth Christian, we strive to teach excellence in and out of the classroom and empower our students with a biblical worldview, preparing them for a life of faith, service, and leadership for Christ.

“The kindness and love everyone gives you when you walk in the door is unlike anything you will ever experience in a school. It’s like one big long hug!” ~ Kimberely S., Lower School Parent

Academics As a college preparatory school, one of our primary goals is to prepare students for the next chapter in their life journey. This process is centered around an engaging academic environment anchored by a biblical worldview curriculum appropriately aligned across all divisions. From Preschool - 12th grade, our faculty work together to design and deliver a challenging, inspiring, and innovative course of study. We develop creative, independent thinkers who enjoy learning as they discover God’s truths about themselves and the world around them.

“FWC provided me with an excellent academic foundation by not only developing valuable critical thinking and writing skills, but also cultivating a culture where students are encouraged to use these skills to develop, express, and defend their own views and beliefs.” ~ Jack Feray, 2019 FWC Alumnus, UT-Austin

Faith As a Christ-centered school, we are guided by a biblical worldview. From the classrooms and athletic fields to our local community and beyond, students understand, believe and demonstrate their faith, service, and leadership for Christ in everything they do. This allows them to discover and develop their God-given talents as well as deepen their own understanding of who they are and the purpose God has called them to fulfill.

Formation Opportunities • Discover U

Service As our students deepen their understanding of being known, loved, and valued, they begin to look outward for opportunities to serve and make an impact for Christ. Through extensive service opportunities, culminating in Upper School with Cardinal Service Week, students across grade levels engage and impact their communities through numerous projects, discovering faith at work within themselves and encountering God at work throughout the world.

“Serving with FWC in Ecuador during Service Week was a very powerful experience. It didn’t matter if we were moving furniture, stones for a wall, cleaning up or playing soccer with the local kids, we were making a difference in the world.” ~ Jake R., Class of 2023

Leadership Our world is changing daily, and the challenges of tomorrow will call for bold, confident, Christ-centered leaders. At FWC, students have opportunities in and out of the classroom to develop leadership skills. In Middle School, this includes the House System, Student Council, Discover U, Student Ambassadors, and chapel leaders. In Upper School, leadership opportunities are presented in Student Council, National Honor Society, Student Ambassadors, student clubs, athletics, arts, and chapel. It is our prayer that every student and graduate of Fort Worth Christian School is empowered for a lifetime of faith, service, and leadership for Christ.
