ALL THE FUN #FYNEFEST18
WELCOME & USEFUL INFO
Welcome to Let me start by saying a huge thank you for joining us at our ninth summer festival of beer, food and music - the response to this year’s event has been unlike anything we’ve ever experienced before and we’re excited to be hosting the biggest FyneFest ever! The entire festival team has worked day and night (literally) to ensure that this year’s FyneFest exceeds expectations - if you’ve joined us before, you’ll notice we’ve made some significant improvements to the site for 2018, and there’s more beer, food and music lined up for the next three days than ever before. We do this event because we want to share with as many people as possible what makes Fyne Ales special - our unique location, our love of brilliant beer, and having fun. With that in mind, thank you once again for joining us - I sincerely hope you have an amazing weekend, and if you do, please don’t be a stranger - tell us about your weekend in the post-event survey, drop us an email or use #FyneFest18 wherever hashtags are appropriate to share your photos, stories and favourite parts of this weekend.
Glasses
Tokens
Attendees will be provided with a glass on entering the festival. Glasses can be rinsed using the glass washers in the Main Marquee.
One beer token costs £1.90, which can usually be exchanged for either a half or a third of a pint of beer or cider - check the beer boards to see how much beer you’ll get for a token. Tokens can be purchased from the Token Point in the Main Marquee or from the Merch Shop.
A very limited number of replacement glasses are available in exchange for two tokens (£3.80) from the Merch Shop. Please don’t break your glass, it’s bad times Tokens are non-refundable, but can be used for merch from the Merch Shop or takefor everyone if you do. home beer from the Brewery Tap Shop.
Dogs
Please keep canine pals under control at all times and clean up after them. Dogs heading to the Walkers Bar must be kept on leads.
Lost Property Please hand any lost property to stewards, Main Bar staff or into the Token Point. If seeking something lost, go to the Token Point.
Merch Shop We’ve got heaps of brand new FyneFest and Fyne Ales apparel to check out during the weekend - many items will only be available during #FyneFest18 and never again, so don’t miss out. Please note: the Merch Shop will sell tokens only until 4pm on Friday.
o FyneFest! BBQs & Fires
Showers
Due to new license requirements, no BBQs are permitted in the camping area. If you wish to use a BBQ, please go to the designated area marked on your #FyneFest18 map. No other open fires are permitted anywhere on site.
There are a small number of festival showers which are coin operated, with a minimum payment of ÂŁ4 per shower.
Noise We ask that attendees avoid any excessive noise in the camping area between midnight and 8am, and respect the quiet family-camping area with no loud noise after 9pm. Stewards will patrol the camping area during all-quiet hours and continued excessive noise may result in ejection from the festival.
Stay Safe Please drink responsibly and try to stay hydrated using the drinking water points provided. Ensure you are legally safe to drive before attempting to do so on departure from the site.
SOS & First Aid In the event of an emergency, please alert a member of FyneFest staff or stewards immediately. First Aid is situated adjacent to the Main Marquee. Please respect the stewarding team and follow all instructions given by them.
