#FyneFest19 #TenYearsOfFun

WELCOME TO FYNEFEST! Back in 2010, Fyne Ales decided to invite some friends to the brewery for a bit of food, a bit of music, a few pints and lots of fun. Ten festivals later, and FyneFest continues in the same spirit, just with a lot more friends, food, music, pints, and most importantly, a lot more fun. A lot has changed over the past ten years at Fyne Ales - we’ve grown, rebranded, launched a mixed fermentation and barrel-aging project, canned our beers for the first time and much more. One thing that hasn’t changed is our dedication to making FyneFest the best possible beer, food and music festival in the country, which is why being awarded the Beer Event Of The Year prize at last year’s Scottish Beer Awards meant so much to us. For #FyneFest19, we’ve taken on board feedback from last year’s festival (our biggest to date) to ensure this weekend is our best yet. We have limited capacity to the same level as 2018, while introducing more amenities to ensure everyone has a comfortable, fun weekend - there’s more beer, more food vendors, and importantly, more toilets than any previous FyneFest. We want to make sure everyone leaves with a (maybe slightly hungover) smile on their faces at the end of the weekend. And with it being our tenth festival, we’re indulging in a bit of nostalgia by bringing back some old friends on the taps and in the music line-up - think of #FyneFest19 as a ‘best of’ the past ten years of FyneFest. For those of you new to FyneFest, our sincerest welcome to Glen Fyne - we started FyneFest because we wanted to share what makes Fyne Ales so special - our unique location, brilliant beers and having fun - with as many people as possible; we hope you have an amazing experience enjoying everything we have to offer this weekend. To those who have come back to FyneFest, a massive thank you for being part our event’s history and joining us once again - this festival wouldn’t be what it is without your support over the last ten years. So cheers to FyneFest, friends, and ten years of fun! From all of us, we hope you have an awesome time and can’t wait to hear your stories from this weekend (and any previous festival) - drop us an email, tag @fyneales or use #FyneFest19 and #TenYearsOfFun to share your photos, stories and highlights with us. Now then, time for a beer. See you at the bar!

USEFUL INFO

Beer Tokens

Cash/Card

One beer token costs £1.90, which can usually be exchanged for either a half or a third pint of beer or cider - check the beer boards to see how much beer you’ll get for a token. Tokens can be purchased from the Token Point in the Main Marquee or from the Merch Tent.

Card payments will be accepted at the Merch Tent, Token Point and Brewery Tap, and cashback will also be available at all three locations (with a £1 admin fee).

Tokens are non-refundable, but can be used in the Merch Tent or Brewery Tap Shop to take something home with you at the end of the weekend.

First Aid & Staying Safe The First Aid tent is situated adjacent to the Main Marquee - look for the banner! Please drink responsibly and try to stay hydrated using the drinking water points provided. Please be confident that you are legally safe to drive before attempting to do so on departure from the site. If at any time you have any concerns about security or safety, please speak to one of our stewards (red shirts), staff team (black shirts) or volunteers (green shirts). In the unlikely event of an accident or emergency, please respect the stewarding team and follow all instructions given by them.

Dogs Those with canine pals at the festival will be aware of the new policy regarding dogs - please stick to it, keeping dogs on leads at all times (except the Dog Run Field) and only bringing dogs into permitted areas of the site - this excludes the Main Marquee, Brewers Lounge and the Courtyard Bar on Saturday 12pm-4pm (sorry.) If you experience or are aware of any dog-related issue during the weekend, please inform a member of festival staff.

Noise We ask that attendees avoid excessive noise in the camping area between midnight and 8am, and respect the quiet camping area with no loud noise after 10pm. Stewards will patrol the camping areas during all-quiet hours and continued excessive noise may result in ejection from the festival.

Recycling Adjacent to the Main Arena is a recycling point with separate areas for (crushed) cans, glass and plastic - please help us look after the environment by placing all recyclable waste in these bins.

3

Glasses Attendees will be provided with a glass on entering the festival. Glasses can be rinsed using the glass washers in the Main Marquee. A very limited number of replacement glasses are available in exchange for two tokens (£3.80) from the Merch Tent. Please don’t break your glass, it’s bad times for everyone if you do.

BBQs & Fires Due to license requirements, BBQs are not permitted in either camping area. If you wish to use a BBQ, please go to the designated area marked on the #FyneFest19 map. No other open fires are permitted anywhere on site.

Lost Property Please hand any lost property to stewards, Main Bar staff or into the Token Point. If seeking something lost, go to the Token Point with your fingers crossed!

Merch Tent We’ve got heaps of brand new FyneFest and Fyne Ales apparel to check out during the weekend - many items will only be available during #FyneFest19 and never again, so don’t miss out. Please note: the Merch Tent will only sell tokens until 4pm on Friday 31 May.

The bar is split into two halves for Cask (C) & Keg (K) beers, and each half is further divided by the beer styles, so all the fruity keg beers are grouped together, and all the hoppy cask beers are together further down the bar. Each beer style has a colour - learning what the colours represent and where they’re pouring will help you find your perfect beer every time.
