INTRODUCTION "GIVE IS A BRAND BASED ON THE IDEOLOGY THAT REGARDLESS OF WHAT WE DO, WE ARE ALL ARTISTS. WE SHOULD HELP EACHOTHER BY GIVING WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THE SAKE OF ARTISTIC PURSUIT.......IN OTHER WORTS ART=LIFE"

PURPOSE & FUTURE GOALS: With this piece of work we hope to communicate a vision and share a lot of artistic ideas. The goal of this publication is to bring together different businesses, brands, and orginizations in new ways. The path of an artist, or entrepreneur isnt an easy one, many people are hustling, trying to push their own ideas but sadly 99% of people arent willing to do what it takes to really make their vision come to fruition. As entrepreneurs weve experienced the truth to this. That experience has made us want to try to make it easier for that 1% thats just starting their path. As a design and media production team we can produce works to showcase and promote artists, entrepreneurs, and business people from all industries. "Give a isbrand based on the ideOLOGY that regardless of what we do w ,e are all artists w .E should help eachother by giving what is needed for the sake oartistic f pursuit in ..ot . her worts

1.1 - GIVE: The Story Pt.1

It all started 3 years ago with the person that typed this article. Kevin Alexander. After returning home from Hampton University in a state of confusion in 2015 (Thanks Hampton) Kevin reunited with his friend and fellow DeMatha alumni Miles Powell. Kevin and Miles were both talented young men who were looking for the next stage in life. Life was clearly looking for something as well because they both were being pushed by their respective households to move out and find places of their own. Similar situaions brought together similar minds. One day Kevin and Miles got together , started discussing Give, and like clockwork that first meeting set things in motion. The thing most significant that this first meeting provided was a feeling of mutual understanding. The feeling of having someone understand your ideas and contribute to them is a very, very, important feeling for an entrepreneur. Its those feelings that give the entrepreneur the strength to keep grinding even when nobodys praising your idea. At the first meeting, there's a dialogue from Miles and Kevin thatll always be remembered and cherished. Kevin was explaining #Give to Miles for the first time so he could get a feel for the idea. after the explainaton was finished Kevin asked a simple question and Miles gave a simple answer.:

KEVIN ALEXANDER CREATOR OF GIVE, LEAD GRAPHIC DESIGNER, ARTIST, WRITER

"...So, what do you think? How's that sound?" -Kevin "........That sounds like an excellent idea, lets do it." -Miles Its a really simple dialogue however it represents a lot when it comes to entrepreneurship. It represents the need for input and help from others as well as the will to try new things and get involved with others. Simple but important. After the first meeting the next step was to get organized as a professional business entity and get everything needed to become a successful business, but help was necessary. A lot of help. Thanks to a bunch of people, Kevin and Miles moved out and were roommates in their first apartment. Thats when things got crazy to say the least...

1.2 - ART IS LIFE! Art, being one of the freest forms of expression is a very important part in all of our lives. Artists like to share their art and we like to look and listen. 2Graphic promotes Give Art in addition to buying, selling and donating art. We attend art shows and events to showcase and view art from artists of all types. We hope to collaborate with artists from all around the world in the future. Although we like to see all types of art our focus is afrocentric and black themed art. There are a few reasons for our focus, however the main reason is because black art really has its own vibe. It represents power, and prosperity, as well as perserverence and equality. We also like to see art from different cultres, abstract pieces, sculptures, and digitally rendered art and of course anime.

2.1 A BLACK

FANTASY Black Fantasy Comics is a new sub genre of comics that is based on the ideology of Give. This sub genre takes afro-centric themes and black culture and works them into a story focusing on the fantasy genre. Black fantasy comics will be based on Give, but they will all tie into one story: The story of how Give came to be. In the end, the goal is to create our own animated series, an anime, based on this story. Series such as "Afro Samurai" and "The Boondocks" were huge inspirations for this. What prompted Black Fantasy comics was the frustration when it came to producing comics. The comic undustry in the DMV is damned near non-existant, so getting your original works out to the rest of the world is a very hard task when living in the DMV. So Black Fantasy Comics was started to give comic creators in this area a platform to showcase their stories and art. The comic industry in Japan is much, much, bigger than it is in western culture. In Japan you see manga characters evewrywhere, advertising products, on appearal, and much more. Shonen Jump is the biggest Manga publication in the world and it really

revolutionized western comics as well. With Black Fantasy, the goal is to incorperate black art into comics in a unique way. You can check out the comics made so far on webtoons.com in a series called "Black Comics". The main production will be a manga called "Give", an autobiographic story about how Give came to be. Its a story attacking the fantasy genre and it willl incorperate a lot of things young artists and entrepreneurs deal with. Basically, in the story the world is in an "entrepreneural age" and most people have an idea that they want to turn into a business. but 99% of people dont have what t takes to do it. The main character "Alex" might have what it takes, if he could just get excited about something.... In this series youll see a bunch of fun stuff like Magic, Kings, cool sci-fi stuff, and cool characters based on real people! Take a look at a small exerpt from one of the webcomics on the next page!
