In this project I had to do the 3D modeling and rendering of a residential project, involving a series of modifications to the original architectural design (Carvajal and Polanco architects) that were instructed by the developer of the project, Econca Group. The machine room for which the technical drawings were designed was also designed.

This project was the remodeling of an office that offers security services. The building was originally a 2-storey house that was characterized by a spatial configuration with 45º degrees angles. The modifications consisted of the enclosure of the terrace area and a backyard which were destined to storage spaces. The second level was extended and reestructured.

LA CASTELLANA
In the main façade I wanted to establish an attractive look with modern materials, so we used alucobond for that purpose. The colors of the corporate image that was mainly based on red and white were also used in the building materials and concept.

In this project the client requested the design of the facade of the house, and the expansion of the garage, to create a terrace. The main requirements have been the implementation of modern elements, without modifiyng the original façade, for economic motives. The proposal is based on the design of a terrace with a hipped roof with a tile finish to keep the house’s

style, the design of the railing that separates the house from the sidewalk and a slight modification in the design of the wall that is located towards the garden, conserving the planters and applying a stone slab finish. In this project I had the role of principal architect, carrying out the measurements, the design, the modeling and the renders.

Music has always been present in the history of mankind. Without musical diversity one could not fully know the history of our civilization. Each period has its particular musical quality, its composers and performers. This enormous universal cultural heritage has been developed according to the characteristics of different societies over time and in the evolution of the human being. An architectural entity is proposed for the Dominican Music Museum, which has as its function the conservation, restoration, compilation and diffusion of the Dominican music.

The project consisted of the headquarters of the ACS, the Association of Caribbean States, the regional agency that seeks the strengthening and integration of the countries of the Caribbean Sea area. The project is characterized by the intervention of a historic building of old San Juan, without affecting its structure. The Caribbean region has an obvious common
PUERTO RICO
element: the waters that bathe its lands, coming from the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. To address the project that corresponds to the headquarters of the AEC, this concept is implemented, which is the key to physical union among the members of the Association.
CONCEPT
1
2
A morphology that follows a path and works like a skin was defined. To choose the materials it was taken into account that it would resemblance the liquid’s behaviour
3
The trajectory begins in the Old Casino that is located in the av. Ponce de León and the intent Is to create a feeling of drop / fall. The objective is to find an interaction with the existing building.
Study of the liquids behaviour under different circumstances
4
Several structural systems were studied. The appropriate structural system that could achieve the goals proposed was the active vectors since it easily allows a modulation that could generate a curved mesh.
SAN JUAN
EL VIEJO SAN JUAN
The proposed area for the project is of great flow because of its commercial / historical nature, which becomes a torrent of activities that spill over time. The social spontaneity that revolves around the place plays a leading role. An intervention is planned that combines this characteristic of dynamism based on the behavior of the liquids that are transformed and molded according to what exists.

Designation of areas by levels, describing the activities and the target public. Each area has different ambience characteristics and is intended for a specific user.
