Design Initiative 01:
1.2 Design Concept
The central self-leaning space will be supported with tree-like column. The universal space bring a sense of belonging. The later design of changing ceiling height will bring varied levels of closeness in collective study area.
Design Initiative 02: The proposal aims to create a continuous journey along the building. Inspired by Harvard School of Design building, the classroom is stepped to increase vertical visual integration. The classrooms are exposed to adequate daylight. The loop of journey also providing visual connection to the surrounding campus. The later shading design will enhance the environmental performance of the building
Design Initiative 03: The ground floor design aim to connect with surrounding campus. The inner street designed created smooth transition between indoor and outdoor.
